What if we aren't "good" at candid posing?

That's totally okay! I still am directing you the entire time. I prompt you and give you guidance, not stiffly pose you. I just take the awkward stiffness out of it! And in a questionnaire I send to you, I get an idea of what type of posing you would be most comfortable with and I always give you as much or as little guidance as you need.

What do engagement and bridal sessions include?

Engagement and bridal sessions are typically around 1-1.5 hours at one location. Two locations can be used if they are close enough to use both with good light! You can bring two outfits for engagements. I recommend bringing on casual outfit and one dressier option. Each session will include at least 75+ edited photos in a gorgeous online gallery (but it's usually way more than that!).

When can we expect our photos back?

I'm quick! For sessions no later than 3 weeks and for weddings no later than 6 weeks! Rush services are available at an added cost if requested.

Question 4

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

Weddings can always be rescheduled and your retainer is applied toward the new date! A contingent fee may apply that is explained in the full price list. The retainer is non-refundable and is retained even in the event of cancellation but it can be applied toward sessions or other services!

Question 5

Do you offer professional prints or albums?

Accepted Answer

Yes! In the online gallery your photos are delivered in, there is an option to purchase professional prints, albums, canvases, etc. They are beautiful and the best quality. I also offer album designing. If you're interested, let me know when you inquire!

Question 6

What if we don't know what package we need or our date yet?

Accepted Answer

No worries! If you don't know what package you need, you can book your date with an $800 retainer and choose your package all the way up to two weeks before your wedding. If you don't know your date, you can also reserve me as your photographer with an $800 deposit and we'll work together to find a date that works once you know what your timeline looks like.

Do you bring a second photographer or rock it solo?

Typically I rock it solo! I shoot with two cameras so I never miss a beat. If another photographer wants the experience of shooting on a wedding day, I let them come gain the practice which just means more photos for you! If you'd like a professional second shooter, we can definitely add that to your package.

What package do we need?

During your consultation, I will walk ask you questions and get an idea of what your exact needs are and then can better recommend a package just for you. Consultations are free and you're under no obligation to book. Reach out to schedule one!

Question 9

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

I've been booked in as little as a month out to a year out! I do recommend reaching out as soon as you can (even if you're not engaged yet!) because my calendar books up, but never hesitate to reach out if you're on a short timeline as well!

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

How many pictures will we get?

You can expect at least 75 images per hour of photographing (but it's usually more than that)!

Question 12

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

You bet! I edit and send all the photos that turn out. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

I am more than happy to refer you to my favorite videographers! For now I focus on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible!

Question 14

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 3+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never had to cancel. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by another amazing photographer I love. I’ll be in touch with you and give you multiple options so we can work together to find the perfect replacement.
