“Vernonia Springs is THE place! We got married in October 2020 and fortunately had planned on a wedding ceremony with less than 30 people pre-COVID. I had several questions about everything and was constantly emailing Jeff to ask about all the ins and outs. He wrote back quickly, consistently, and professionally. We visited twice beforehand and Jeff was helpful and friendly. He was easy to work with having food trucks come in and pre-approved day before with a couple drop offs. When the big day arrived, the venue was beautiful, had safety protocols in place and we heard several compliments on the atmosphere. The venue is quiet and tucked away with limited cell service, so at the end of the night, when everyone sat around the fire place, it was relaxing and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in one of the yurts and the bed was so comfy! Other guests said they enjoyed their bed and setup as well. Honestly, I have only have great things to say about Vernonia Springs!”

“We got married just about a year ago in the old hangar at Pearson and it was perfect! We hired a live jazz band and had the hangar doors open, timing our entry with sunset behind the Fort, and it was everything I wanted. The hangar is already white and made a great blank canvas, and it has those incandescent-look patio lights hanging up inside. We had about 70 people that attended, plus the 25-person big band. The only 2 tricks were that you can't "permanently" attach anything to walls or anything, so we made some weighted window-sill decorations for the windows on the south wall, and we did have to bring our own sound system for speechifying. The only complaints I had were that we had to dispose of our own trash (which was just kind of strange for a venue IMHO since it's such a big park) and that the outside walls were just... filthy with cobwebs, dry grass, etc. so it didn't make a great backdrop for photos. I wanted to enter through the back door, so there's not a lot of photos of outside (we also had photographer issues, but that's a different thing entirely!).”

The staff were friendly, responsive, and was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. They communicated promptly about details and last minute changes, which we really appreciated during such a hectic time. The location right on the water was beautiful and made for a romantic backdrop. Our guests raved about the delicious meal and many said it was one of the best wedding dinners they had enjoyed. The space itself was elegant yet comfortable, with large windows to showcase the views and a great dance floor. “The Victorian Belle was everything we dreamed of for our wedding and more. The mansion and gardens are absolutely breathtaking, magical, romantic, and full of flowers. During our ceremony, bunnies even popped out of the hedges to watch, which felt straight out of a fairy tale! The lighting in the reception tent was warm and enchanting, and the whole atmosphere made the day unforgettable. The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. They were kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was stress-free. They set everything up for us, kept us on track with the timeline, and even brought drinks from the bar without us having to ask. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process — Diana, the coordinator, was the friendliest, most helpful person we could have hoped for, always quick to respond and endlessly accommodating. As a bride in a wheelchair, accessibility was a big concern for me, and I can’t say enough about how thoughtful and inclusive they were. They rearranged furniture to ensure ease of movement, set up the bridal suite on the ground floor so I could get ready comfortably, and made every adjustment possible to ensure my day was just as easy and beautiful as it would be for anyone else. That level of care meant so much. The catering, which comes with the venue, was absolutely divine. Guests raved that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The staff let us fully customize the menu, including vegan options for things that weren't listed as vegan, and everything was delicious. They even packed up leftovers for us to take home, which we loved. Flexibility was a huge strength of this venue. They let us customize décor, set up special tables for speakers and a memorial area, and made the whole day feel like it was truly ours. Our guests are still telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a venue that’s gorgeous, affordable, accessible, and filled with caring, professional staff, I can’t recommend the Victorian Belle highly enough. They gave us the wedding of our dreams.”

“My husband and I were married at Amaterra on April 25th, 2026 and the experience was a delight, start to finish. The winery has multiple gorgeous areas that lend themselves well to customization, both indoors and outdoors (which is a must with Oregon's mercurial weather patterns!). Communication was steady and the event planner Katie Carver was a creative mastermind, always taking our ideas and running with them to add a little extra magic. Even the day of the wedding itself, Katie was instrumental in keeping everything running smoothly and improvising as needed. Their kitchen staff is incredible. We had a mixed menu with some Amaterra classic catering options as well as some custom Chinese dishes. The food was so good that multiple of our guests have talked about pining to have another serving, weeks after the fact! Importantly, the pricing is also fair and transparent all throughout the process. Overall, Amaterra will always have a special place in our hearts after taking such good care of us on our big day. We recommend them 1000% to anyone looking for wedding venues in the Portland area!”

“We had a whimsical disco wedding—equal parts heartfelt and unhinged—and The Jupiter NEXT was the only place that could have held it all. This wasn’t just a venue for us. The Jupiter has always been our go-to spot whenever we’re in Portland. It’s where we’ve stayed with friends over the years and made some of our favorite memories. Getting married there felt like a wedding and a reunion wrapped into one—layered, personal, and completely us. The indoor space transformed effortlessly throughout the night. We had 130 guests and still managed to fit speeches, dancing, crafts, sequins, jumpsuits, a cocktail bar, a cozy lounge, a ping pong table, and an unreasonable amount of hugging and crying—without ever feeling cramped. And not having to transport anyone? Incredible. The ability to just take the elevator to our wedding or bump into friends in the lobby all week made everything feel more connected and intimate. Callie guided us through planning with such a calm, grounded energy. She helped us think through layout and flow, coordinated with vendors, and just made everything feel possible. She was kind, thoughtful, and quietly excellent at solving problems before we ever saw them. Fernando, our day-of coordinator, absolutely crushed it. He kept everything moving, handled our disco-dinosaur energy like a pro, and made space for us to actually enjoy the day. He was organized, hilarious, and totally unflappable. We also stayed at the hotel all week with our two chihuahuas, and the staff could not have been more wonderful. We basically took over the place with guests and shenanigans, and they didn’t just put up with it—they made us feel like part of the family. Thoughtful, kind, and always one step ahead. The Jupiter NEXT gave us space to fully be ourselves and throw a joyful, weird, deeply meaningful celebration. It wasn’t just a venue—it was home for one of the best weeks of our lives.”
