About this venue

The heart of Owl and Olive is our historic gambrel barn. Built in 1936, the barn provides a beautiful and unique setting to celebrate your special day with family and friends. The vaulted ceiling spreads overhead reaching nearly 40′ to the inside of the cupolas. Tasteful accent lighting illuminates the rafters while three rustic barn-sized chandeliers and complimentary bistro lights combine to provide a warm glow on the gathering space. Our team includes full service, comprehensive wedding planning as well as day of coordination so you and your loved ones don't have to lift a finger! Three Packages: – Weddings in the Barn up to 175 – Full Service Micro-Weddings for up to 40 guests – Full Service Elopements for 2+. The Barn

The 1930s gambrel barn is simply stunning, the setting on the banks of the Chehalis River unforgettable.

The heart of Owl and Olive is our historic gambrel barn. Built in 1936, the barn provides a beautiful and unique setting to celebrate with family and friends. The warmth of natural old growth cedar and fir planks and timbers surround you. The vaulted ceiling soars overhead nearly 40′ to the inside of the cupolas. Tasteful accent lighting illuminates the rafters while three rustic barn-sized chandeliers and complimentary bistro lights combine to provide a warm glow on the gathering space below.

Included in this room:

60″ round tables and white folding chairs are provided. Crossback chairs available at additional per person rate for set up/clean up. Additionally, six 6′ long rectangular tables are available. Ample power is provided around the perimeter of the barn for food service use and AV equipment. A covered stair lift at the north entrance provides enhanced access. In inclement weather, both the ceremony and reception can take place in the barn.

    Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive was the perfect venue for our rustic, barn-themed wedding. The communication with the staff was not the fastest, but they were helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was amazing - the venue was beautiful with a lovely rustic aesthetic, and they had the chairs and tables staged on the day of the wedding, which made the process much easier. However, one downside was that we didn't get the day before the wedding to decorate, so we had to rush to get everything set up on the day of. Overall, we were thrilled with Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning, rustic wedding venue.

Yes we do. If you have homeowner’s or renter’s insurance, your insurance agent may be able to provide the liability coverage at a reduced rate. If not, you can purchase insurance from a number of sources online, including WEDSAFE, WEDSURE and EVENT HELPER.
Yes, we welcome all licensed & insured vendors. We can help them with the process required to work onsite via our included planning/coordination team.
Yes! Depending on the season, you may see cows, new calves, chickens, goats and other animals. Guests have access to much of the farm, but if pastures are fenced and gates are closed and/or locked, we ask that guests do not enter for your safety and the safety of our animals and livestock. Thank you!
Yes, we have expansive parking included onsite.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Yes, we can provide full bar service OR you may provide your own alcohol with some requirements. Most importantly, you will need a banquet permit (we can help you obtain) and bartenders must be insured AND have a valid Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Permit (Class 12). You can book the bartenders through us or your licensed caterer. Guests may not bring alcohol or be allowed to self-serve alcohol.
