Horning’s Hideout is a enchanting place for creating lasting memories. Our private park is nestled in a canyon 35 minutes west of Portland. We are Oregon’s premier outdoor wedding venue with three beautiful wedding sites.

Creekside site

Nature’s Elegance, Your Perfect Ceremony

Our Creekside site is a wooded area set along a natural creek and can accommodate 250 people. This scenic area has very tall trees, a small pond, a creek that runs right alongside the ceremony area and a large lawn area.

Stage Site

A Love Story Worthy of the Stage

Our Stage site is Northside of the lake and can accommodate 700 people. It is equipped with a large 65 foot wide beautiful wooden stage. The stage sits alongside the lake, so you are right above water, with trees on either side of the stage.

Lakeside Site

Love Flows Beside the Waterfall

Our Lakeside site is Southside of the lake and can accommodate 350 people. This area is semi-wooded with a landscaped 160 foot long waterfall feature next to a ceremony area. In the center of this scenic setting is a large covered area and a grass lawn.

    The perfect summer wedding

    We chose Horning's Hideout for our wedding and it was the right call. The team was incredibly easy to reach whenever we had questions, which made the planning process so much smoother than we expected. On our big day, they made sure everything ran smoothly and jumped in to help whenever we needed them. The venue itself is stunning, and the whole experience felt perfect from start to finish. We were blown away by the quality and beauty of it all. We'd recommend Horning's Hideout to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Yes, you can bring your own alcohol via self service or through bartending services. Day of site insurance is required for all events.
We host weddings and events from the second week of May through the first week of October.
Each of our 3 wedding venues has it's own parking lot located near the site.
Each site has a covered pavilion, a dressing room, dedicated site restrooms, 10 round tables and 80 chairs. Additional tables, chairs, light poles or a PA system can be rented for an additional charge. Each site also has a dedicated campsite that can be reserved for an additional fee.
