Opal 28 is an intimate space, an extension of your living room with a vintage & elegant ambiance. The 2,600 square foot space includes two great rooms, a built-in bar, private outdoor patio and bridal suite accommodations above the venue. The building was originally built in 1908 is conveniently located in inner NE Portland.

Black-owned open floor studio with large windows and original exposed brick. The large windows allow a hefty amount of natural sunlight to fill the room. Good for photo shoots, exercise classes, small banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, launch parties, and meeting space. There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading. After twelve wonderful and unforgettable years, the time has come for a new chapter. Gray Gables Estate will officially close its doors on December 31, 2026. While our venue will be closing, our passion for creating memorable events will continue. Gray Gables Events will remain in operation, offering event coordination, select off-site catering, and, potentially, a new venue location in the future. This transition also allows us the opportunity to spend more time with our family while continuing to do what we love. As we reflect on the past twelve years, our hearts are full of gratitude.
