“We are so grateful we had the Fairlie as our wedding venue. The entire team is amazing and so helpful. It is a stunning and reasonably priced location. We did not have a wedding planner nor coordinator and I feel that was possible because of the help of the great Fairlie team - Alison, Alexis, and Orlando were amazing. They helped us build out our day of timeline and helped so much with last minute items that came up. We had no clue who to choose as a caterer & it was great that their team requires you to work with one of their preferred caterers - we could not have been happier with the caterer we met because of the Fairlie. Because they do this - everything is seamless. Our guests could not stop commenting on how gorgeous of a venue the Fairlie is. Choose the Fairlie - it's the most beautiful venue in Chicago!”

“We got married at Walden in December and it was the best decision we could have ever made for our wedding. Walden ensured that we were taken care of every step of the way. Walden has it all: amazing food and drinks, full service planning, and great relationships with some of the best vendors in Chicago. Maria was so wonderful to work with in the beginning stages to book our wedding with Walden. She answered our many questions and scheduled multiple calls with us to ensure we were comfortable with the contract we were signing and was so accommodating! Krystle and Alyssa, our amazing planners, could not have been better!! They were there every step of the way whether it was to offer suggestions on vendors, reach out to vendors for us to get pricing/details, and to keep us on track with planning every detail. As an indecisive bride who really had no vision going into wedding planning I could not be more grateful to Alyssa and Krystle for making the planning process as easy as possible! From the moment I arrived the morning of my wedding we were taken care of by the amazing staff at Walden. Helen greeted us with breakfast set up, took our dresses to steam them, made sure my veil and all accessories were ready for detail shots, and checked in on us to help with anything we needed. Krystle helped ensure that the day went according to plan and made every dream of ours come true. She brought our vision to life and we could not be more thankful for her. Jenny was our closing planner the day of the wedding and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. She helped coordinate the set up of the desserts and late night snacks and helped secure all of our belongings at the end of the night. The planning team is a dream and allowed me to not have to worry about a single detail the day of my wedding. They gave me the ability to be fully present with family and friends for every moment of the day. The food and drinks were hands down the best we have ever had! Our family and friends could not agree more, we continuously receive compliments on the appetizers, entrees, and drinks at our wedding. We can’t thank the kitchen and bar staff enough! Our wedding was a dream and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend getting married at Walden and I hope that I get to attend a wedding there again to experience it all over!”

“My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue for our June wedding and stumbled on this location based off other Zola reviews and we are so grateful we did. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Its everything I wanted in terms of it being and open rustic vibe. We added very little decor to the space because the space is beautiful in its own right. We got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and the patio space. We had both our ceremony and reception here. Jen was a joy to work with. She was super responsive easy to communicate with and answered revert single question I had. Would highly reccomend if you’re looking for a beautiful open ceremony/reception space. You will not be disappointed.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Arbory as a wedding venue. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by the modern jungalow vibes and stunning surroundings. The space is so beautiful and full of living plants that helped us stretch our floral budget while still creating a gorgeous blossoming space! The team at The Arbory was incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing us to set up the space exactly as we envisioned for our special day. The bridal suite is amazing and provided a great space for us as a couple to step away and connect throughout the nice. I would also note that we loved the built-in photo/video booth! One of the most impressive moments was when they seamlessly flipped the ceremony space into the reception area, quickly and stealthily. It was truly a magical transformation. And I have to give a special shoutout to Shay, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect and that we were happy. “My husband and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding reception at The Carter in June. From the moment we first toured The Carter up until a few days after our wedding, Chris (owner/operator) and the rest of The Carter staff went above and beyond for us. Chris was super responsive, so easy to work with, and created such an amazing vision for our day. Chris knows what is important to wedding guests and makes sure to prioritize those things - short lines for the bar, guests having a drink in their hand, food served quickly, etc. Everything about the space is perfect, the bridal suite is huge and has so much natural light. I got ready in the morning in the bridal suite and had 10 bridesmaids, my mom, 2 hair stylists, and 2 makeup artists in the space and there was plenty of room for all of us. Our hair stylists, makeup artists, and my bridesmaids raved about the bridal suite - definitely a huge perk of The Carter! The patio space is perfect for cocktail hour, I loved having that outdoor feature and so did our guests. The entrance/welcome space is stunning and such a great way to welcome guests into the space. The main reception area is so beautiful and has so much character with the brick walls and chandeliers that you need minimal decorations/florals which was a huge draw for me. The dance floor is big and fit our band along with all our guests. We were very fortunate to have a perfect 70 degree day so the garage doors were open throughout the entire cocktail hour and reception which was amazing. Literally, every single guest of ours raved about the space. I could go on and on about how amazing it is!! There is also parking easily available which is very rare for wedding venues in the city. We were also surprised the day of our wedding when they let us up onto the roof to get some fun golden hour shots. We had no idea they had roof space that was accessible for that type of pictures! I can't say enough about the staff at The Carter. I already mentioned how great Chris is. Stefan was a newer addition to The Carter staff and we were fortunate to work with him in the last week leading up to our wedding. He was there to let us drop off stuff a few days prior to the wedding and he had everything organized for us. The day of the wedding, Stefan was making sure our drinks for the bridal suite were on ice, he made sure trash was cleaned up, and would continually check on us to see if we needed anything. He told me, "you're not lifting a finger today" and me and my bridesmaids were so appreciative of everything he did for us. At the cocktail hour and reception, the servers and bartenders were great. Food came out quickly and there were no issues. Stefan was even sweet enough to let us leave some stuff after the reception and my friend came by to get the rest of it on Monday. Moral of the story is The Carter is hands down the best and really wants to make your wedding day perfect for you. Our day was literally perfection and we have The Carter to thank for that!”
