Working with Nancy and Shelly was great. They responded quickly to emails and always had the answer. The venue has an industrial chic vibe which I was going for. They decorated the reception space for me the day of the wedding which took the stress away. When I saw the reception space it was perfect!

Sanctuary Events Uses Preferred in house catering with Sovereign, Plainfield, IL

Though we are primarily a wedding venue, we do have offer our Blue Room for events hosting up 25 guests and our Grate Room, up to 50 guests for Sunday rentals only.

Tours can easily be booked on our website

We offer a“soft hold” for up to 3 days from your tour. If someone inquires and wants to put a deposit down on that date, we will reach out and offer you “first refusal”.

We require a completed contract and the $1000 non-refundable deposit to hold your date, which will be applied towards your total space cost.

You may have a rehearsal on a Thursday prior to wedding (Friday if bot booked) for $250 which includes a coordinator to help you navigate your ceremony procession and recession.

Sanctuary Events is very hands on and the day pf wedding coordinator will assist with all things relating to ceremony and vendors while at the venue.

Wedding Planners work with couples on all points of the wedding from hiring vendors, coordinating the Bridal Party prior to arriving at Venue, directing people, etc. Event Coordinators handle the logistics of the event space, placement of furnishings, layout, bar set up, staffing, etc... A Sanctuary Events Coordinator will be on-site for your big day!
