“Kaila is really great! We hired her as our day-of coordinator for our recent micro wedding and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. She was able to advise us on the event timeline, toast procedure, etc. in the months leading up to the big day, which was incredibly helpful since we'd never done this before. She also attended our rehearsal and helped make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew the plan. She was great at collaborating with our officiant during this process as well. But it was the day of the event when she really shined. As the bride, I didn't want to have to think about any logistics at the venue while I was getting ready and with Kaila, I didn't have to! She sent me one quick question via text that morning that I was glad to weigh in and otherwise, she totally took care of the rest. The venue looked amazing, everything ran like clockwork, and she made sure to keep us in the loop when (and only when) it was necessary. She even brought us some appetizers to snack on while we were waiting on a vendor to arrive to bustle my dress so that we didn't miss out on our own food! “I couldn't recommend SGS Events and Sarah more highly. I reached out to her without a lot of lead time needing some flowers for my wedding, but I had no specific vision of what I wanted - I just knew I needed something. Sarah was willing to work with me to figure out what I wanted and then delivered better than I could have imagined! She came up with the idea to do small bud vases on each of the tables to then have guests take home at the end of the night. The guests were delighted and it was a huge hit! My wife and I have never felt more taken care of than our wedding day, and we have Amanda to thank for that. Everything went perfectly, from the ceremony all the way to the last dance, and we know Amanda’s hard work is the reason why. Every transition, event, and piece of the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. One of our favorite moments of the day was immediately after the ceremony, when my wife and I got to relax in a private portion of the venue for a few minutes. We were both overwhelmed with emotion and as soon as we went inside from the outdoor ceremony location, Amanda and her assistant were waiting for us with a drink and a few of the appetizers our caterer had prepared for our cocktail hour. We were immediately set at ease and given time to ourselves to just enjoy finally being married, relaxing into the joy of the day as we realized Amanda was going to take care of everything.
