“YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. “We booked Sheeco Weddings—specifically Nicole—as our day-of coordinator, and we truly couldn’t recommend Nicole or the Sheeco team more. The way they structure their coordination services was an absolute dream. Starting about a month before the wedding, we began meeting with Nicole, and she took the time to truly get to know everything: our vendors, décor, family dynamics, and all the little details that make a wedding run smoothly. She created our full timeline and took over communication with all of our vendors, which was such a huge relief. The level of detail she thought through was incredible—things we never would have considered on our own. Having someone so organized and supportive leading up to the big day relieved so much stress. We had a very DIY wedding, with a lot of moving parts. All vendors were booked individually, and we brought in all of our décor ourselves—candles, hurricane glasses, table linens, napkins, cutlery, cups, name cards, signage for the bar, seating chart, welcome sign, and even our cake table (since we picked up the cake ourselves). Nicole and her assistant executed that vision perfectly—truly above and beyond our expectations. Everything was set up beautifully and exactly how we had imagined it. Because of Nicole and the Sheeco team, my husband and I, our families, and our wedding party were able to completely relax and be fully present on our wedding day. I knew that if anything came up, it would be handled seamlessly. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day-of coordination/wedding management package. “I seriously could. not. recommend. her. enough. Bria was an absolute sweetheart and so quick to respond to any questions we had. Our day flowed so smoothly because of her. We were hesitant to invest into a coordinator, but with our wedding being out of state, we didn't want the stress.
