As a kid, Rebecca could be found in the kitchen cooking with either her Mom or Grandma. Traveling to Albany was always a treat, as her favorite dish to eat was Nan's French toast. While studying at NYU, Rebecca came up with the concept of STUF'D to fulfill the need for a savory French toast, as it was yet to be done. She decided to start the business as a food truck in 2016, as a way to keep her brand more mobile. Since then, we have evolved into a full-service catering company, offering a variety of sandwiches, sliders, and cocktail bites, and serving events that range from weddings and birthday parties to large-scale events!

Jess’ passion towards food comes from growing up in a bi-cultural and bilingual home where life revolved around the kitchen table. As a Peruvian, Irish New Jerseyian, she spent most of her childhood in NJ, as well as Lima, Peru. Seeing such different worlds gave her a sense of belonging to a global community. Her travels began first to Peru, visiting family, then to Europe and Latin America where she lived in Spain, studied in Italy and worked in Mexico. The inspiration for Hearth & Table is to bring us back to the table. Everyone understands the concept of breaking bread. Her hope is that Hearth & Table will help everyone experience it.

Scott (Chef Cava) is a classically trained chef and a graduate of the French Culinary Institute. Scott's career in the food service industry began long before culinary school. Scott began cooking professionally as a line cook at the famed New York City French restaurant, La Grenouille. While working at La Grenouille, the restaurant received 3 stars from the New York Times. After La Grenouille, he spent time cooking for several restaurants in Brooklyn and Manhattan before switching his focus to private dining. Scott is also an editorial content contributor and recipe tester for Food52.
