Spinning only original 45s, 33s and 78s from the 1920s through the 1970s on two tube-powered vintage record players, The Vintage DJ arrives and we hear that unique sound, filling the air with the feeling that anything is possible. Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers formed in 2001 as a loose collective of musicians from various backgrounds who got together to play country music for fun. By the mid-aughts the band (now firmly centered around Yours Truly, Sean Kershaw) was a well-honed, professional music outfit playing everything from club dates to weddings, festivals and corporate and charity events. A CD, Coney Island Cowboy was released and the band hit the road, touring the East coast, California and Alaska. Sean also toured Australia using local musicians. Fast forward to 2023 the band is going strong, playing monthly gigs in Brooklyn and events everywhere.
