Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. Imagine having an adventure elopement day that includes whatever floats your boat. Whether it’s adrenaline-packed, laughter-filled, chill vibes, or all of the above. Then add in a kickass connection between you & your partner that’s enabled by dedicating that day TO YOU.

“Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. She had a very quick response time and worked with me to figure out the best package for our special day. Leading up to the wedding, Calea was readily available to answer any questions I had and even helped me with a timeline for the day. On the day of our wedding, Calea drove to a neighboring county from our venue for us to be able to get some first look and family photos done before the ceremony. I was worried about what types of poses we'd do but this worry quickly went away as Calea makes you feel completely comfortable and fully guided us through all the photos, making it an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful or uncomfortable one. She captured every single detail beautifully. Venue, decor, detail shots, vendors, cake & dessert, various views during the ceremony, guests, dancing, special moments, etc. She stayed beyond the agreed upon contract time just for us to be able to get the perfect sunset shots in the vineyard. From the very first contact, he was incredibly responsive (super important to us), friendly and professional. His work looked great so we were excited - then we found out he was featured in Vogue! We were stoked. He was amazing to work with on the wedding day - punctual, friendly, got all the requested shots, and the whole bridal party loved him. We got our pictures back today - and they’re so much better than we could have dreamed of. It’s no wonder he was featured in Vogue - his work is artistic, candid, and beautiful. “Coral and her team were INCREDIBLE! We hired them for photography and videography for our wedding and we couldn’t have chosen a better team. Coral has an eye for capturing pure emotion. The photos make you feel like you are right back in the moment. I wore two distinctly different gowns (one was a traditional ivory ballgown, another a red, heavily embroidered Pakistani gown), and Coral captured both looks beautifully and effortlessly. My husband is comfortable in front of the camera, but the wedding was a very nerve wracking day for him- but everyone on The Double Shot Project team were so kind and made sure to match his vibe and uplift him any time they could. They also really took their time photographing him and his father with their project cars, which was a really special moment for them. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting just how sweet and fun her and her team were, and how they brought a bright and positive energy while always mindful of the people surrounding them (which is tricky to do when holding equipment). I could not recommend The Double Shot Project more!
