Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. :)

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

I can bring a second photographer on request for an additional cost, but I generally work alone as my work is very fly-on-the-wall outside of the portrait sessions. :)

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All the photos you receive will be edited photos. My editing style is very natural, so I do not modify the look of my clients themselves in their photos, but small blemishes - such as zits that aren't normally there or garbage cans in the background - will be removed wherever possible. Please see my other photos for an idea of my work. :)

Q: Do you also offer video services?

Yes, I do! My main work is as a documentary-style wedding videographer. You can see more of my video work at https://www.elizacurlfilmsandphotography.com/wedding-films

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

For full wedding galleries, you will receive sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding and your full gallery within six weeks. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. :)

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 50-75 images per hour of photographing.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! I your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll happily send that over to them.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 4 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. If for any unseen reason I am unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues of a similar style and experience level. I'll introduce you to them before your wedding day and make sure that you vibe with them as well as you do with me. I will edit your photos as I would have if I had been there on the day of.

Daughter’s winter wedding

Turning real moments into art
We couldn’t be happier that we chose Eliza as our photographer! Best Choice for wedding
Eliza added so much experience, fun and relief in the time leading up to and during the wedding. She was part of the wedding and not just a person on the outside taking photos. My husband is not comfortable with his picture being taken and usually isn’t a fan of his photos. He was so thrilled with the photos we received and barely noticed his picture being taken. She truly listened and implemented what we shared was most important to us and I cannot begin to express how wonderful the experience was. The value we received far outweighs the costs and I cannot recommend Eliza enough!
