“My husband and I had the tremendous good fortune to have Ashley as our coordinator and florist for our wedding this May. What Ashley does goes so far beyond the scope of a typical day or month-of coordinator. We met with Ashley monthly for an entire year leading up to the wedding. She had so many smart ideas and insights throughout the process, kept us on track, and even drove an hour plus away to do a site tour with us. I am a little socially anxious and could imagine feeling awkward day-of around a coordinator I had only talked to a couple times. Instead, Ashley felt like a good friend who we knew we could trust completely. If you are a couple on a budget like we were, know that Ashley’s services are an incredible value for your money (raise your prices girl). After working with her for a few months, we decided to also hire her to do our florals. Having one fewer vendor to wrangle and having our florist present for the whole event was amazing. I initially worried that because she does both coordination and florals that she might not have the expertise of someone who is solely a florist. Not the case at all! Ashley is wildly talented with flowers. I had a very specific vision, and she blew me away. I made her a vision board and she executed it flawlessly. Ashley went above and beyond in all areas and was really there for us throughout an emotional and stressful process. On our wedding day my husband and I must have said some variation of “We love Ashley” or “Thank God for Ashley” a dozen times. If you are looking for a sign, let this be it. HIRE ASHLEY! “When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!”

She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. “Kaila is really great! We hired her as our day-of coordinator for our recent micro wedding and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. She was able to advise us on the event timeline, toast procedure, etc. in the months leading up to the big day, which was incredibly helpful since we'd never done this before. She also attended our rehearsal and helped make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew the plan. She was great at collaborating with our officiant during this process as well. But it was the day of the event when she really shined. As the bride, I didn't want to have to think about any logistics at the venue while I was getting ready and with Kaila, I didn't have to! She sent me one quick question via text that morning that I was glad to weigh in and otherwise, she totally took care of the rest. The venue looked amazing, everything ran like clockwork, and she made sure to keep us in the loop when (and only when) it was necessary. She even brought us some appetizers to snack on while we were waiting on a vendor to arrive to bustle my dress so that we didn't miss out on our own food! “Maya was so helpful as our day-of-coordinator for both days of our wedding. She worked with me prior to the wedding to make sure we were completely prepared with all of the details. She was amazingly helpful on our wedding days, ensuring that everything went smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to focus and enjoy the days. Maya even ran to the store in 100 degree heat because we needed more water for our group and dropped off gifts and other items at our house after our reception so we could enjoy our time with our friends and family. “We met Kacie from Golden Day over a year before our wedding date and booked her after our very first meeting. Choosing a day-of coordinator really comes down to personal preference. We met with some coordinators who were pretty aggressive, and came off as overbearing. That’s not Kacie. Kacie acts as a calm, stress-neutralizing sounding board for your ideas. Anything you share with her is met with, “Yes, that’s a great idea, let’s make it happen.” She doesn’t try to steer your vision; instead, she supports your creativity and helps keep it on track as your ideas evolve. She shows up when you need her and is always willing to take a phone call without hesitation or making you feel like you're on the clock. With Kacie, there were no stupid questions, we could ask her anything, even twice, and we were met with her optimistic attitude and supportive responses. On our wedding day, Kacie maintained her positive, poised demeanor as she set up the entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space with very little help. There were some issues at the start of the ceremony, but Kacie never seemed phased. Not once did she let stress show or allow it to leak into our headspace leading up to, or during the big day. Kacie was also incredible about making sure we actually ate on our wedding day. So many friends told us, “You’ll never eat at your own wedding.” Well, they clearly didn’t hire Kacie. After the ceremony, cocktail-hour appetizers magically appeared while we waited for our grand entrance. As soon as we sat down, she had plates of dinner ready for us. At the end of the night, my wife and I were actually able to head to the after-party with our friends, and that was because of Kacie. She stayed behind and left the venue spotless so we wouldn’t incur any additional charges. In fact, she wrapped everything up so efficiently that our catering team was able to leave early, and we were credited back an hour of service. Our day truly was golden, if we could choose one word to describe it, as corny as that sounds. And it wouldn’t have happened without Kacie.”

I’ve been working in the wedding industry since before I had a driver’s license. My father is a SoCal based wedding videographer of 20 years. Starting as a young teen, he would let me tag along to weddings to help haul equipment. I fell in love with the hustle and I ended up working 15+ weddings as his assistant videographer before I left for college.
