“Kaci is an angel! She checks every box you could want in a wedding coordinator. She is communicative, thoughtful, organized, and experienced. More than that, she is warm, understanding, and reassuring. When our work became very stressful before our wedding, she took over and reassured us we were on track. “My partner and I were looking for guidance and help in planning our wedding celebration. We were recommended Two Perfect Events by our venue, Mister Jiu's, given their prior collaboration and experience with them. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines. The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers. We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day. Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. “If you’re someone who tends to get overwhelmed by wedding decisions, or you just want to be hands-off on the day-of, that is exactly the kind of experience Monica delivered for us. We had a small, intimate backyard wedding, and Monica ran it so smoothly that our main job on the day was to literally just show up and enjoy ourselves. I’ll admit I probably made her job harder than it needed to be. I couldn’t make up my mind about the flowers and decorations, and I wasn’t always great at explaining what I wanted. She figured it out anyway, cause instead of dropping twenty options on me, she’d narrow it to two or three, suggest things I’d never have thought of on my own, and once we gave the go-ahead she handled it extremely quickly. What showed up looked exactly like what I’d had in my head. She took all that decision fatigue off my plate without ever making me feel rushed or anxious about choosing. In the days before the wedding she was the one coordinating everything with our vendors, keeping us updated the whole time while sticking to all our deadlines. “My wife and I came to Kelsey with a big challenge: Help us turn our family's private property into the perfect wedding venue - and use as many hyper-local vendors as possible. Kelsey jumped right in, making herself available for crucial site visits, identifying vendors as local as possible to the location (also our home tome) to fulfill the long list of things we needed to pull this off, and left us with little to worry about throughout. Kelsey was proactive in communicating, anticipating things we needed before we did (like a true pro), and provided multiple options for us to choose from. When we needed to go back to the drawing board, Kelsey took the feedback really well and quickly got us moving forward again. One example of how awesome Kelsey is as a planner and day-of coordinator is how she planned and handled our complex transport logistics. The venue was a remote farm-like property up a steep, winding, single lane road with no lighting and minimal parking. As such, we needed to shuttle guests to the venue. Furthermore, the ceremony site was up a steep hill in nearby pasture, with only a dirt road for access. Kelsey quickly identified a shuttle vendor that could handle the task and worked with them to ensure it could happen. She worked on the shuttle schedule and timing so much, we had things timed to the minute. This was personally the single most anxiety inducing aspect of our day, and Kelsey made me feel confident and helped me focus on enjoying the day itself. Of course, all shuttling went off without a hitch, and the guests were really impressed with the organization. Finally, when we made a last minute (literally week before) decision to look for a videographer, Kelsey not only found us a fantastic videographer team, but got us a great deal, with extra coverage time and drone footage. I highly recommend Kelsey as both a planner and day-of organizer. You couldn't be in better hands.”

“Hiring Ashley was easily one of the best decisions we made for our DIY wedding. Here’s why: 1. Ashley does it all. When you’re planning your own wedding, the last thing you want is to juggle a dozen vendors. The fact that Ashley is a day-of coordinator, florist, and dessert person is a huge plus. We even asked her to cater our farewell brunch the next day! 2. Flowers: They were freaking beautiful. We asked for bud vases and my bridal bouquet, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I teared up when I saw my bouquet. 3. Dessert: We told Ashley that our guests weren’t really dessert people, yet the fact that there was almost no dessert left is a testament to how tasty everything was. The heart cake she made for us to cut into was adorable and, unsurprisingly, delicious. 4. Day-of coordination: Where do I even begin? Ashley was easily the most responsive vendor we worked with, but more importantly, she has a way of putting you completely at ease—which means so much when you’re a DIY bride juggling a million things.  Here’s the best example I have: just over a week before the wedding, I realized I had given Ashley the WRONG DATE for the wedding. I had somehow missed it in all our communications and contracts. It was 100% my fault, and when I realized it, I was this close to throwing up all over myself. We were one week out, and I was screaming. I immediately texted Ashley to apologize and ask if she was still free, and instead of freaking out, she simply said, “Don’t worry, I’ll figure it out. You’ll have a beautiful day—don’t worry!” And she did. She dealt with her hotel, juggled all the logistics for the flowers, and made it work.  That’s exactly the same calm, helpful energy she brought on the wedding day. When I realized there was no wine on the tables during our reception, she handled it. When I asked her to come early for a rehearsal, she did. There were a million little details that I either a) thought I had accounted for (as someone who is extremely Type A and naturally anxious) or b) hadn’t even thought of (since I’d never planned a wedding before), and Ashley either handled them herself or discreetly gave me two potential solutions to choose from.  One example: vendor meals. Obviously, you know you have to feed your vendors, but I hadn’t considered where they were going to eat—it was still on my to-do list the morning of the wedding. With a million things happening, I didn’t get to it, but thanks to Ashley, all our vendors were fed and I didn’t have to worry about it one bit. 5. Bonus perk: Ashley has a bunch of wedding items you can borrow (like candle holders, easels, signage), which is a game-changer when you want to be mindful of the planet and avoid buying, dumping, or reselling everything afterward. “We hired Mostest for Day of Coordination and Something Borrowed Blooms Management. We chose our coordinator a month before our wedding and started working with her about 3 weeks ahead of the big day. We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. Our DoC, Tea Shepherd, was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. Our coordinator for SBB, Fiona, received and dropped off all of the packages and communicated quickly and we’re very happy how all of that was handled.”
