Shell's Loft Fort Greene is a one-of-a-kind venue with a modern Brooklyn loft feel that's woven with warmth and character. Our flexible indoor-outdoor space makes it a perfect setting for life’s celebrations, corporate gatherings, and more! The space features two beautiful, light-filled lofts, decked out with Shell’s signature decor and our biggest plants (and indoor trees!) yet. Celebrate in our large Greene Loft with lush attached garden, enjoy first look photos or a micro ceremony on our rooftop. We’ve teamed up with Marlow Events as our exclusive caterer to bring you the best food & cocktails in Brooklyn. They offer full-service catering from the Marlow Collective, the Brooklyn hospitality group that includes the restaurants Diner, Marlow & Sons, Roman's, and Achilles Heel, the butcher shop Marlow & Daughters, bread bakery She Wolf Bakery, and natural wine & spirits shop Stranger Wines.

Our Greene Loft is designed to feel like a serene escape from the bustling city, with indoor trees and plants and soft neutral tones throughout.

Our 3360 sq ft main Greene Loft features an attached backyard and is designed to feel like a true escape from the city. With lounge furniture throughout, a beautiful custom bar, gigantic plants, and custom-made botanical artwork, there's not too much you'll need to do to this space.

A Dream Venue - unique, intimate, unforgettable

From the moment we stepped inside Shell’s Loft, we knew it was our venue. We had toured countless spaces across NYC, but nothing looked—or felt—like this. It truly is a blank canvas in the best possible way: clean, modern, warm, and full of personality. We were able to create the exact atmosphere that reflects our relationship, and the space elevated every detail. The natural light was incredibly important to us, and the floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the venue created the perfect autumn mood. As the sun set, the glow across the room made our ceremony and dinner feel magical. The size was ideal for our 120 guests—comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. We were able to host our ceremony, cocktail hour, and disco in one room, and still enjoy a dedicated dining space that felt intimate and elegant. It made the entire evening feel like its own bistro disco experience. What makes Shell’s Loft especially special are the additional spaces that become part of your memories. The rooftop was the perfect private spot for our first look and a quiet moment before everything began. The outdoor lounge created a beautiful backdrop for family photos and our ketubah signing. And the bridal suite was a dream—not only for getting ready, but also for hosting our nieces and nephews for Lego playtime during the reception. Every corner of the venue served a purpose and added to the experience. The neighborhood was surprisingly calm and tucked away, which made everything feel private and personal—rare for New York City. And logistically, the venue offered everything we needed without having to bring in excessive rentals or temporary fixes. The Shell’s Loft team truly thought of everything. Our wedding day was beyond what we hoped for, and so much of that is because of this venue. If you’re looking for a space that doesn’t look like every other wedding venue, and one that allows your personal style to shine through, Shell’s Loft is perfection. We are so grateful we found it.

Shell's Loft Fort Greene was a stunning place for our event. The beautiful light, greenery, outdoor area, high ceilings, and light wood were exactly what we were looking for as our backdrop. Shell and the team are great to work with. They had lots of layouts to help us figure out the use of space and flow of the night. I love the bar area, its so cute and customizable. This place does NOT need a lot of decor and dressing up. It is beautiful on its own and with whatever special touches you bring!

Shells Loft Fort Greene was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the moment we first inquired, the team was thorough and thoughtful in their communication, ensuring all of our questions were answered and our needs were met. On the day of our wedding, the venue looked absolutely gorgeous, with their well-stocked selection of furniture and plants complementing our decor beautifully. The facilities were impeccably clean, providing a lovely, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The team at Shells Loft truly went above and beyond to contribute to making our special day a success. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Shell's Loft Ft Greene is an absolute dream! The brand new venue boasts a beautiful rooftop with a grill, a modern, lush backyard space, and two "studios" for all types of events. I could not have asked for a better venue or team to work with for my event. The curated and thoughtful design and decor was absolutely perfect and Shell, Mardi, and the rest of the team were super communicative and understanding. Our guests had the best time and raved about how incredible the space felt. Bonus points for the location- Ft Greene is such a special neighborhood and really needed an event space and Shell's Loft more than answered the call.
