He's incredibly responsive and thoughtful and helped us think through a vision for the evening. He had great recommendations for food and drink that felt personal to our taste as a couple. His ability to think big-picture AND attend to the smallest details made for an incredibly smooth planning process and sensational wedding day. Our guests loved the industrial vibe of the garage bay and the farmhouse/tavern feel of the interior rooms - the best of both worlds! When speeches went long during dinner, Al worked with us in the moment to adjust our timeline so we could maximize time on the dance floor. Al doesn't miss a beat. Let me start with District Winery is a fabulous wedding venue! For starters, it is gorgeous inside and out with a besutiful waterfront location. That alone wooed us, but the real wooing came from Latoria, the DW sales manager, who was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly patient answering all of our many questions before we signed the contract and afterwards letting us know the next steps. Another fantastic aspect of weddings at DW is that they assign you an event manager - and now this is where the big, huge thanks come into play. Samantha was absolutely incredible to work with! She was our event manager and left no detail unaccounted for. From our first email exchange to our final walkthrough and then the final, final details, she answered every question and ensured everything was set and ready to go. She is very detail oriented and the spreadsheet she gave us to complete with all of our decor, dietary restrictions, etc. ensured fantastic organization and that everyone was on the same page. Day-of, I could not believe how perfectly everything turned out with our decor, flowers, and food. The food at DW is fantastic - if you haven’t been yet for a visit - go! Everyone knows that you don’t go to a wedding and expect great food and wine, but that is not the case here at DW. After our unbelievable tasting night (which was just insanely awesome), we had to narrow down our favorites which was hard to do!One of my favorite aspects of a wedding is cocktail hour and they delighted with the passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations (including a cheese tower), and bar! Also, as my husband and I keep saying- the best money we spent was on the gorgeous and fun champagne tower! Obviously, I can’t say enough great things about our wedding at District Winery. If we could do it all over again, we would and we wouldn’t change a thing! Huge thanks to Samantha and District Winery for making our dream day come true!

Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

I just got engaged and have zero interest in the big wedding thing - my family is annoying and I’m shy so I can’t imagine being in front of everyone I know professing my love. This is a really perfect solution for someone like me and my SO. We plan to keep it intimate for just the two of us, and the chapel has everything we need to get hitched quickly and easily. I loved the vintage vibe of the space and the 3 owners that I met at the grand opening (we happened to be walking by) were incredibly sweet and gracious. I can’t wait!!

We had our reception at The Cordell and had an amazing experience. The space is new and modern, and the open layout allowed us to tailor everything to how we envisioned. They were flexible in working with our vendors, and we used their bar packages — the bartenders were professional and fun. The team was awesome and helped everything run smoothly. It’s also great to have a new venue right in downtown Bethesda. We had a lot of family and friends from out of town who stayed in nearby hotels, and they appreciated being close to everything. We’d definitely recommend The Cordell.

We did a full buyout of the space for a 160 person wedding in May 2025, and I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding! There are many nice picturing-taking spots around the property. We were able to get some more nature focused pictures outside and then moved inside to capture the wonderful industrial feel of the space. We had about 20 tables of 8-9 people and it didn't feel cramped. The food was amazing and almost exactly like what we tried at the tasting. The staff was great during the event. We had to move our ceremony inside and they did the room flip to cocktail hour super quickly! Although it was pricey, we appreciate that the Wool Factory handled everything that had to do the with tables, we did not need to rent plates, napkins, glassware, etc and it was nice to just have all of that tied in with the food and beverage. The only downsides I would mention was that communication was a bit slow (I often had to send a followup email to get a response), the beer options were not given to us until 30 days before, and we had to rent chairs for the tables since they only provided benches. Also they had a strict "no bare feet" on the dance floor, which is totally understandable, but I wish I would have know beforehand so that I could have warned my guests to bring flats in addition to their heels. Overall, it was a beautiful venue and we had an amazing day!

From the moment I first stepped through the hotel's front doors, I was impressed with the hotel's luxe, stylish and modern details that celebrate local artists and musicians. The photo ops are truly endless! But above all, what's most memorable about Viceroy Washington DC are the people. The events and food and beverage team go above and beyond to ensure that your event will be a success. We navigated numerous challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Kate and the entire team made what could've been an incredibly stressful process, so easy! Due to local guidelines, we needed to move our indoor event outdoors. With Kate's help, we were able to seamlessly pivot to a beautiful event on the hotel's outdoor heated patio. The food and beverage program is outstanding and safety is considered every step of the way. Can't recommend Viceroy Washington DC highly enough!

If you love Sonny’s the bar/restaurant, you’ll love it for your wedding. The event staff were so nice and responsive. The space was fantastic - we just did doubles and it was perfect for what we were doing. The drinks and food were delicious, as they always are at Sonny’s. Having No Kisses right next door for the afterparty too was super convenient. The Woman’s National Democratic Club has occupied the mansion since 1927. The Whittemore House was listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1973 and was granted museum status in 2000. Today, we celebrate this distinguished history and tradition by maintaining a noted collection of antiques, art, and political memorabilia.

The house team was very easy to work with and accustomed to the needs of video crews (our need). The overall space is large, well-maintained and offers multiple rooms with different looks and sizes, all with a classical, mansion home esthetic.

Get married here!! CJM was the perfect venue for my wedding. It was customizable and flexible. We did our ketubah signing, ceremony and reception on different floors giving our wedding a fun flow for our guests to see the museum. The event spaces were a great canvas for us to customize our wedding decor. I even had a private bridal space to get ready in. The museum itself is unique and modern, with the historic charm of the old synagogue. It really was the perfect day, I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
