Perched above Arlington, our penthouse venue offers sweeping, unobstructed views of Washington, DC—from the Capitol and Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial and beyond. As the sun sets and the city lights begin to glow, the space transforms into something truly unforgettable. Designed for couples seeking a unique and elevated experience, Top of the Town features both indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to flow seamlessly from one moment to the next. We comfortably accommodate up to 180 guests cocktail-style and 150 seated. We provide the essentials—including tables, chairs, a spacious dance floor, and a private outdoor terrace—while giving you the flexibility to bring in the catering and personal touches that reflect your vision.     Beautiful venue, helpful staff, great team

    TOTT is a great place to have a wedding under 140. We were 130 and it was perfect. They have a great list of preferred vendors for catering and music who are so top notch and everyone works together seamlessly. We had the time of our lives here, our guests loved the views.

Renting Top of the Town for your event includes private use of the reception facility, outdoor terrace, lobbies, and a facility manager. And unlike most other event sites, the fee includes chairs, tables, dance floor and parking. The typical rental period for Saturday and Sunday is 8 ½ hours (includes time for set-up and clean-up). The period of time can be extended in most cases.
To book Top of the Town for your event, contact the Director of Sales ("Contact Us"). At the signing of the contract (which guarantees your date), one-half (½) of the reception facility rental fee, and a refundable security deposit will be due. The remaining rental fees are due six months prior to your event date.
Top of the Town has its own parking lot which is included with rental of the space. A directional parking attendant is required for events over 90 guests. A directional valet company must be selected from our approved list. Top of the Town is also accessible via Metro: five blocks south of the Rosslyn Metro Station (blue & orange lines), about a 12 minute walk.
Yes, but the alcohol must be served by the approved caterer handling the event. Providing alcohol this way can save you thousands of dollars.

By Arlington County regulation, the capacity is 180 standing, 150 seated with a dance floor. Speak with the Director of Sales regarding capacities for different room configurations.
Top of the Town has an Approved Caterer list. Caterers who have worked at Top of the Town and are in good standing are welcome to return. If you have already selected a caterer, please contact our Director of Sales to see if your caterer is approved. A caterer that has not worked at Top of the Town before must complete an application, furnish documents, interview, and train. Fees may apply.
