The Wedding of Our Dreams — Absolutely Perfect!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Your Event, Your Way, Catering & More! From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through our wedding day, the entire experience was absolutely incredible. Planning a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming, but Stacy Pauley made everything feel so much easier. She was patient, understanding, kind, and truly listened to every idea, concern, and vision I had throughout the entire process. No matter how many questions I asked or changes I made along the way, Stacy always responded quickly, professionally, and with such a calm and reassuring attitude. Her communication was honestly one of the best parts of working with this company. I never felt ignored, rushed, or like “just another client.” She genuinely cared about making our wedding perfect. What really impressed me was how much they were able to provide all in one place. They handled our catering, cake, DJ, photography, and wedding coordination, and every single service exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later! The cake was stunning and tasted just as amazing as it looked. They truly brought my vision to life perfectly. The DJ did an outstanding job keeping the energy up all night long and made sure everything flowed smoothly during the reception. The music selection was perfect, and the dance floor stayed full the entire evening! Our photographer captured every special moment so beautifully, and I am beyond grateful for the memories we now have forever. Every photo reflected the joy and love of the day perfectly. The coordination aspect was where Stacy and her team really shined. Weddings have so many moving parts, but because of Your Event, Your Way, Catering & More, I was actually able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. Stacy made sure everything stayed organized, on schedule, and stress-free. She handled every detail behind the scenes so gracefully that I never had to worry about anything. Knowing someone so experienced and dependable was in charge gave me complete peace of mind. What stood out most to me was how personal everything felt. Stacy truly cares about her clients and treats your event as if it were her own. Her passion, professionalism, creativity, and dedication are unmatched. It’s rare to find someone who is not only talented at what they do but also genuinely compassionate and patient during such an emotional and important time. If you are looking for a company that can truly do it all and make your event unforgettable, I highly recommend Your Event, Your Way, Catering & More. They went above and beyond every expectation we had and helped create the wedding of our dreams. We are so thankful for Stacy and her amazing team. They made our special day absolutely perfect, and I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Made all my dreams come true
I cannot say enough amazing things about Your Event Your Way Catering & More! Stacy, Danielle and their team handled nearly every aspect of our wedding, including catering, bar services, photography, videography, DJ services, florals, décor, rentals, cake and desserts, planning, and day-of coordination, and they truly brought our vision to life beyond anything we could have imagined. From the very beginning, they worked closely with us to customize every detail to fit our style, preferences, and budget. The level of creativity, professionalism, and dedication their team showed throughout the planning process was incredible. Having one company coordinate so many important elements made the entire process so much smoother and less stressful for us. The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about it. The bar service was professional and efficient, the floral arrangements and décor were stunning, and every detail came together perfectly. The DJ kept the dance floor full all night, while the photography and videography captured every special moment beautifully. The cake and desserts were not only gorgeous but also delicious. What stood out the most was how much Stacy genuinely cared about making our wedding day special. Her team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the day-of coordination allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our wedding without worrying about logistics. If you are looking for a company that can truly do it all while making your wedding feel personal, beautiful, and unforgettable, I highly recommend Your Event Your Way Catering & More. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day perfect!

Left us scrambling one month before our wedding
I would strongly advise anyone considering Your Event Your Way to proceed with extreme caution. We booked this company over a year in advance for our wedding, trusting them to manage multiple critical components including catering, bar service, rentals, florals, and day-of coordination. We paid a deposit based on a detailed proposal and expected a professional, reliable partnership. What we experienced instead was a complete breakdown of communication and professionalism. As our wedding approached, the owner, Stacy Pauley became increasingly unresponsive. It took weeks to secure a call, which she then missed. When we did connect, the explanation for missing the call was inappropriate and unprofessional. After that, she again became unreachable despite repeated emails and texts. At the same time, we were presented with a revised quote that was more than 50% higher than the original estimate—amounting to thousands of dollars in unexpected increases—with no clear justification. We were also told she would not be making money on the event, which raised serious concerns about the viability of moving forward. We were then put in an impossible position. Communication stopped entirely, and despite multiple follow-ups, we received no response for over five business days during a critical planning window. Only after we initiated contract termination—something she had previously suggested—did communication resume. When we requested our deposit back, we were refused, despite the contract stating that only expenses already incurred on our wedding would be non-refundable—and no work or purchases had been completed on our behalf. Instead, we were met with shifting explanations and inconsistent reasoning. As a direct result of this company’s failure to communicate or perform, we were forced to replace every major vendor less than a month before our wedding. This caused unnecessary stress, significantly increased costs, and put our entire event at risk. This experience was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable. At best, this reflects severe disorganization and lack of professionalism. At worst, it raises serious concerns about business practices and how client funds are handled. We are currently pursuing this matter further.
Stacy Pauley•May 7, 2026We are disappointed to hear that this was your perception of your experience with our company, as we made numerous efforts throughout the planning process to accommodate your requests and work within your budget. Your original quote was provided more than a year prior to your wedding date. During that time, multiple additions and changes were requested after the agreed-upon deadline for modifications had passed, including increases in guest count and additional services. We explained that pricing adjustments were necessary due to both the expanded scope of services and increased market costs over time. Despite this, we worked extensively to negotiate pricing and reduce costs where possible. In fact, many of the updated charges were discounted significantly below standard pricing in an effort to keep your event within budget, even to the point that the event would have resulted in little to no profit for our company. Contrary to the statements made in this review, the scheduled call was not missed. Contact was made at the agreed-upon time of 6:00 PM. During our conversations, concerns regarding pricing were raised repeatedly by them, including discussions regarding what our company “should” be charging for services and additional guests. In an effort to avoid further dissatisfaction, we offered the option to mutually part ways and release you from the contract if you no longer felt confident moving forward. At that time, you declined and agreed to the revised and negotiated pricing structure. Approximately one week later, however, you chose to terminate the contract voluntarily. It is also important to clarify that any additional costs incurred after cancellation were the result of your decision to terminate the contract and secure replacement vendors on short notice. We were later blamed for those increased expenses, despite the fact that they were not caused by our company, but rather by the voluntary cancellation of services after revised pricing had already been discussed, negotiated, and accepted. Regarding the retainer fee, the signed contract clearly states that clients are responsible for fees, expenses, and business commitments incurred up to the date of cancellation. Significant planning, consultations, scheduling, administrative work, vendor coordination, and date reservation had already occurred. As is standard within the event industry, reserving your date required us to decline other potential bookings for that timeframe. At the time of cancellation, I also communicated that I was temporarily assisting family during a medical emergency involving my father-in-law being in critical condition. Despite this, I still responded and attempted to address your concerns professionally. Unfortunately, subsequent communications included threats to publicly damage both my personal reputation and business reputation if demands were not met. We always strive to provide exceptional service to every client and regret when expectations are not aligned. However, we stand by the professionalism of our business practices, our contractual agreements, and the extensive efforts made to accommodate your event. We wish you the very best moving forward.

Your Event Your Way Catering and More made our wedding absolutely unforgettable! They truly did it all catering, photography, coordinating, planning, DJ, bar services, florals, décor, cake, and cupcakes all from one incredible vendor! Having everything handled by one talented and organized team made the entire process completely stress-free. The food was out of this world our guests are still talking about the brisket, burnt ends, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, and Marry Me Chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The florals and décor were stunning elegant, cohesive, and exactly what we envisioned. Every detail, from the ceremony to the reception, was perfectly styled and absolutely gorgeous. Our cake was a showstopper: a three-tier masterpiece with layers of champagne, chocolate truffle, and butterscotch bourbon each one more delicious than the last. The cupcakes were just as amazing! The DJ kept everyone on the dance floor, the bartenders were friendly and efficient, and the coordinating team made sure the day flowed flawlessly from start to finish. We couldn’t be more grateful for their professionalism, creativity, and genuine care that each team member put into our day 10 out of 10 recommend

Good and Bad
So the good: 1. They were nice. Stacy was pleasant to work with when we spoke, was helpful and accommodating and seemed to go out of her way to meet our requests. 2. The food was good. It was typical catering food but it was good no complaints there. Of note, they went all out on our appetizer/charcuterie set up. We had a table size charcuterie board that was excellent. Looked spectacular. 3. The dining tables and tent where the bar/appetizers/cocktail tables all looked good and matched what we asked for. Was happy with how those turned out. The bad: 1. They were late. Our wedding was scheduled to start at 5 pm. The reception at 5 with the ceremony starting at 5:30. They said they'd arrive at 12 but didn't show up until 1:30. They were finished setting up at 5:45. So, we didn't have a reception and the ceremony was delayed. This is what bothers me the most I think. It was our wedding. Our one wedding. They seemingly didn't plan for traffic so the first part of our ONLY wedding was cancelled because of it. I had guests showing up and they're still setting up. Our wedding was outside so we had nowhere extra for them to sit, drinks and appetizers weren't ready. This felt very unprofessional as a wedding vendor. You can't disrupt the actual wedding plans. 2. The lighting. We paid 400 for lighting. We got 6 or so horizontal strings of lighting over the dining area which for a 30 person wedding was not a big area. To be fair the contract was not clear about how much lighting we were going to get, so we could have asked for more clarity. They didn't set up lighting in the food tent where everyone was to go for food and drinks so it was pitch dark in there once the sun set. They put a work light angled at the ceiling in there eventually. If lighting for the tent was not included, they should have communicated this to us. 3. The runner leading up to the altar/arch. The advertised picture that we were shown which I'll upload to this review was large. What we got was a 3ft x I think 20 ft. This was misleading and was pretty frustrating given how everything else was turning out. Uploading the advertised pic with white chairs, and what we got. 4. The servers/bartender. So this is a wedding, a formal event. Everyone is in suits and dresses. The bartender was in a black t-shirt and a ballcap. The guy doing the food was in gym shorts. I was pretty embarrassed. This felt unprofessional. 5. The cake. The cake we asked for and was told was doable was not what we got. It apparently didn't travel well. What we saw was a two-tier lop-sided cake that looked like someone spread a jar of icing on with a butter knife. We had asked for/ordered a smooth icing cake with a pincushion design. When they brought it out and the photographer asked if we wanted to take pictures in the pitch black food tent with our ugly cake, you can imagine how that felt. Uploading a pic of the cake. 6. They didn't bring anywhere to put trash lol. 7. It was unclear what was available and what they were capable of.
Stacy Pauley•Oct 28, 2025Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the food, décor, and charcuterie display — Stacy and our team truly appreciated being part of your special day. We apologize for the delays and logistical challenges. Our team traveled 4.5 hours on I-95, faced heavy traffic, and managed several last-minute changes, including a new tent setup. The schedule also listed a cocktail hour at 5:00, preceding the ceremony at 5:30, which created some timing overlap. All cocktail hour food and drinks were ready by the requested 5:00 start time, and guests were enjoying appetizers and drinks at that time, so we’re unsure what you are referring to regarding them not being available. The team was not provided a required arrival time and it is stated on the paperwork that was provided that they could arrive at any time. Additionally, there was no water or prep area for the cake or food, and we were unaware that trash cans would not be available, as none had been requested. Lighting options were limited — we were given only one outlet for all lights, so we could not safely plug in additional lights for the tent or the extra lighting we brought without creating a fire hazard. The aisle runner was the one pictured by our supplier, and it differed from the photo because the chairs were not assembled beside the runner but at the dinner tables. Regarding the cake, Stacy usually prepares our cakes, but she was managing five weddings that weekend, so this one was outsourced. The requested design would normally require fondant for structural support, but buttercream icing was requested instead. Stacking heavier, dense cakes on top of moist cakes caused it to become lopsided during transport, and the custom request to cut and stack two halves further contributed to this. The cake did not have enough structural support due to the cutting of the layers. Without a prep area on-site, the cake could not be repaired before presentation. We’d also like to clarify that our staff always wears all black. While your review mentioned gym shorts, the team wore standard shorts — no gym attire was involved. The bartender was a female in all black, and the gentleman in a black button-up and cap was extra staff. Our staff wears formal attire only when specifically requested, which was not done in this case. We handled five weddings that same weekend without other complaints, but your feedback is invaluable and helps us improve. Please feel free to reach out directly, we would love the opportunity to speak with you personally and make this right.
