    Unprofessional and Disorganized

I contracted Christopher Flowers LLC for wedding florals & had to terminate and fight for my 2,250 deposit back. Sharing this so other couples know what they may be walking into. I want to be fair: Christopher is creative with a passion for florals. But passion alone does not make a reliable wedding vendor. If you need professional communication, organized consultations, and follow-through, please read carefully before signing anything. The consultation started badly before it began. We were given a warehouse address that turned out to be a dilapidated locked shared space - confirmed when my planner arrived 30 minutes early. We then got a last-minute text redirecting us to an outdoor flower stand in front of a Richmond restaurant less than 30 minutes before our appointment. We arrived on time and stood outside in nearly 100-degree heat for over 15 minutes with no call, no greeting, and no one looking for us. He only called because his assistant drove by and spotted us. We held the meeting outside on a shared strip mall patio with no water - our planner had to get it herself while Christopher stepped away 20 minutes to make an example bouquet while serving other customers. Once the meeting began he did not stand to greet us or introduce himself. No design visuals, no mockups, no printed proposal despite two computers open. A standard consultation goes through the proposal line by line with all parties having a reference sheet. Ours lasted an hour and forty-five minutes in scorching heat with none of that. He went on tangents and we continually redirected the conversation to help facilitate his own consultation. Key items including guest table arrangements and cake florals were never discussed. He called my fiancee and our planner the wrong names throughout. When asked about our venue - which he had never worked - he said no to any logistics questions, adding he had stopped by a month earlier on a drive to New Jersey. Stopping by is not the same as knowing a venue. At the close he made an unprompted comment speculating that if he and I ever got into an altercation at a club, I would throw fighting words and my fiancee would punch him to defend me. We had been professional and gracious throughout. Our planner said it was a first for her in over a decade - directed at two people who had been nothing but professional throughout a meeting that had already tested our patience. I emailed termination the next day and included the exact address in a follow-up text since he had multiple addresses in use. He confirmed receipt but later claimed he never got the email - yet I had written to him not once but twice with the exact address. Filing a Venmo dispute was the only thing that got his attention. He called immediately, said I was rude for filing, that he was not making any money off of me anyway, & that I had never communicated with him - despite acknowledging my text two days earlier, and me asking in writing not once but twice. What followed was nearly two weeks of broken promises, unanswered texts & repeated calls. His dispute reply came on day 12 from filing & day 16 from my original written request - both outside his own stated 7-10 day policy. Regarding the Venmo dispute, I personally confirmed with Venmo that the vendor needed to respond to the dispute in order for the funds to be released and communicated to Chris directly. He was aware of what was required & still took nearly two weeks to act.

    Great experience

Christopher Flowers provided beautiful, original floral arrangements that were a valuable addition to our special day. Their communication style was quick, relaxed and prompt, which made the process of planning our wedding flowers stress-free. The flowers they delivered were stunning and exceeded our expectations - we were thrilled with how they turned out. They also worked closely with our budget to ensure we could get the look we wanted without breaking the bank. I was so impressed that I even sent flowers from Christopher Flowers to a friend before the wedding, and they were just as beautiful and well-priced. We highly recommend Christopher Flowers to any couple planning their wedding.

Horrible experience on our big day

I rarely write negative reviews but lets get into it. When I first started working with Christopher Flowers everything was going ok. He often forgot about our meetings or was late for the meeting so my partner and I had to call him. I actually didn't mind this but it should have let me know what would happen on the wedding day. The communication was always lacking and I always had to do the reaching out. Long story short the day of my wedding Christopher was extremely late. He was initially supposed to arrive at 11am for setup because the ceremony started at 4:30pm. He didn't arrive until 4pm when the guest were supposed to be seated and we were highly disappointed. Everything was behind because we had no florals on the arch. He was then supposed to move the florals from the ceremony to the reception and guess what? That didn't happen. He agreed to give is part of our money back and guess what happened? He ghosted us and I haven't heard back since.
