Hi! I'm Kim. I am a quirky and creative collaborative designer local to the Richmond, VA area, and I am happy to travel! I have a strong background in logistics and supply chain, an intense interest in quality over quantity when it comes to purchasing the flowers I use, and an even more intense desire to Get Creative.

Our goal is to be accessible in every way. Whether this refers to your social constructs (everyone is welcome), or your budget (we do our best, big or small), or your design ideas (some of my favorites are VERY colorful or "ususual" designs, so don't be shy) ... we want you to be comfortable. Your situation and vision is uniquely yours, and we love that about you. I specialize in getting to know what makes sense and what is important for you, rather than selling a package. Starting at $1800 for local RVA. Designer's choice working with your color palette, simple textures and limited yet timeless flower and style choices. Includes local delivery and initial setup only; additional pieces, movements, rentals, travel, and end-of-night strike are available for additional charge. Loose greenery and florals are provided for photographer's use for flat-lays and more, or you may choose to use them as accent decor outside our setup.

Starting at $2750 for local events. A light version of garden style weddings with consideration for budget and variety. Heavily designer's choice florals for value and seasonality, with consideration given for color palette preferences when possible. Local delivery and initial setup included; additional pieces, movements, rentals, travel, and end-of-night strike available for additional fees.

Travel Package: Concierge Experience

Your dedicated florist for the event! Starting at $1000, will vary seasonally with van rates, actual mileage driven, gas pump prices, the need for additional assistant(s) if applicable, and cost of accommodations. This is a services package, and does not include any product or rental fees for our product (note that rentals referenced below are ONLY rentals provided by us, not external companies); it exclusively represents human resources and rental van equipment for travel events.

    Beautifully affordable & vibrant florals

    From the moment I first reached out to Pandora's Posies, Kim was so accommodating and helpful in guiding me through the floral planning process for our wedding.     Stunning florals and exceptional service!

    Working with Kim at Pandora's Posies was an absolute dream! I went into the process unsure of exactly what I wanted, but after just one call, she was able to help me shape a clear and beautiful vision for my wedding florals. Her communication throughout was exceptional—she not only confirmed all the details but also suggested alternate arrangements for our altar flowers due to the rainy forecast, ensuring they could be easily moved inside if needed. This foresight and flexibility made a huge difference! On the day of the wedding, Kim went above and beyond. All the floral arrangements were stunning and ready to go, and she coordinated seamlessly with the venue to ensure the floral decor was moved inside after the ceremony, creating a gorgeous and cohesive look throughout the evening. My bouquet was absolutely breathtaking! I didn’t have a strong vision for it, but Kim completely nailed it—I received endless compliments on it, and it was everything I didn’t know I wanted. The centerpieces were equally gorgeous; so much so that we let guests take them home, and by the end of the night, not a single one was left!     Incredibly talented florist!

    We wanted to have a wildflower-themed, fun, and colorful wedding with the Shenandoah mountains as the backdrop, and Pandora's Posies was the PERFECT florist to execute our vision. I sent her many pictures from pinterest of what the look was I wanted, and we discussed over the phone what actual type of flowers would work for that. She was very accommodating and even tried to grow specific flower types that I wanted! Her price range was very reasonable, and overall, we were SO happy with the look of our flower arrangements for our wedding!

    An absolute dream

    Kim took all of my ideas and made them better than I imagined. She was helpful when it came to the little bit of diy we wanted to do, very insightful and grounded when it came to flower selection and what was in season or not. I could not have asked for better she really and truly killed it.

For drop-off only events or in cases where we are meeting you for a pickup, local fee is $15 within just a few miles of our home address. For drop-off deliveries outside of this area, you may estimate delivery at $1/mile (round trip) though this number may not be exact. Since many weddings request or require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
No! However, we always consult to make sure the charges make sense. For example, if you only need a bouquet that's totally okay! But if your wedding is six hours away, we want to make sure you are aware of the travel fees that would incur first.
Consultations are usually by phone and last approximately 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please have ready as many details about your wedding as you can, like your budget, style, inspiration, quantities of pieces, etc. This can also include images of your venue, photos of your wedding attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can customize to you. We want your inspiration to guide our creation. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
We do offer this service for an additional charge. The actual charges may vary depending on the extensiveness of the breakdown, and whether or not our team is obligated to remain on site or nearby (essentially, on call) for the entire event.
For weddings in May and October, sooner is better. These are the most popular months and book first. For holiday weddings, you may need to book a year or more in advance. For most of the rest of the year, 3-6 months is is usually enough time. (For example, get the quote about 6 months out, so you can book and get the first payment in by the 5 month mark.)
Mockups are available for an additional fee for all events, and are charged at our daily rate markups. Mockups may include similar flowers and are not guaranteed to be the exact varieties that we will use in your wedding, which we are happy to explain during your consult.
Many flowers are available year-round! Do not trust everything the internet searches say, because we can source from farms worldwide. However, certain ones and certain types of greenery do have off seasons, and import source affect price. If you have a specific flower that you wish to incorporate, please let us know.
Yes! We have arches, candelabras, battery operated candles (so many venues are flameless now!), and more that we have offered as add-ons, and we are working on building whole packages around rental-only model.
Sorry, we do not offer flower preservation. However if you do plan to have your flowers preserved, please let us know at your consultation so that we can help you select a specialist that we can work with. Some flowers require special handling in order to be ready for preservation.
We are happy to consult with you about a destination wedding to see if we or a florist local to the area would be the best fit for your event. Certain destinations have strict import/export regulations.
Typically we do not handle non-floral requests unless it is related to use or movement of floral pieces or our rentals. We will work with your site coordinator related to floral movements. For example: Some couples choose to "repurpose" certain floral pieces from the ceremony to the reception, and while at most venues this is handled by the site team some couples prefer to have our floral team on call (additional fees may apply).
We can do high quality silks! This is a popular solution for people who are travelling or planning a destination event, and encounter unique challenges with fresh florals. This is a great solution to a product availability concern, however it can sometimes be more expensive than live cut flowers. We have plans for future rentals. We are not a Sola Wood representative and do not plan to add this option, though recently Sola has been running some great deals for direct-purchase packages with advance planning.
We are located in Midlothian, VA (near Richmond). We sometimes do events outside of the area, even crossing state lines! We charge a mileage-based delivery fee, rental van if needed, mandatory setup minimum, and events more than 2 hours from us we stay overnight. All of these are discussed ahead of time, and we do our best to ensure it makes sense before booking. Many times we are still the best option because we provide dedicated attention, stellar service, and exceptionally fresh flowers.
