Hi, I’m Alina, the photographer behind Alina Phillips Photography. I photograph weddings, intimate celebrations, and elopements throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Planning my own micro-wedding showed me how meaningful it is to celebrate in a way that feels true to you. My approach is warm, relaxed, and focused on real moments, with gentle guidance so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’m here to capture the people, emotions, and little details that make your day yours.

I bring a thoughtful, organized approach while leaving room for your day to unfold naturally. Before the wedding, I help you plan a photography timeline, find portrait locations, and make time for the photos that matter most to you. On the day, I’ll guide you when you need it and step back when a moment speaks for itself. I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can get to know each couple and give their celebration personal attention. My goal is for you to enjoy your day and receive photographs that feel like you.

    So Grateful for Alina’s Warmth and Guidance

    One of the things we loved most about Alina was how effortlessly she worked with all the different personalities in our families. Weddings can get hectic with so many moving parts, but she stayed positive and patient the whole time, keeping everything flowing without ever making us feel rushed. She was especially great with our big group of groomsmen who honestly had no idea what to do...she guided them with ease and kept things fun, and the photos turned out amazing. We all look so natural in the pictures, and they truly captured the joy of the day. Alina’s energy, warmth, and professionalism made such a difference, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

    My partner and I had photos done by Alina twice now and have loved both experiences. The first was when my (now Fiancé) planned with Alina for a surprise photoshoot when he proposed and she was very accommodating, communicative & brought so much joy and excitement to the day. We received the photos literally in 10 hours and it captured the perfect proposal just how we wanted! We then went to the national cathedral for an engagement photoshoot where Alina captured the perfect save the date photo and allowed us to be our natural selves in front of the camera while also guiding us through poses. I would highly recommend Alina for all of your photos needs and I will cherish these beautiful photos forever.
