Virginia wedding photographer with a serious obsession with Netflix, true crime podcasts and YA fantasy novels. Telling the stories of two best friends in love with laughter, joy, and some really awesome dance parties.
I've been told I'm a personal hype squad - always keeping things light and joyful while creating a fun, calm, and carefree environment for any event or session. I'm a big believer that you should spend as much time enjoying the moments of your day and interacting with your friends and family as much as possible. I aim to work quickly and get you to the party as fast as I can, while still capturing the true feeling of your wedding day from start to finish!

The best photographer!!!
We found Sara after requesting vendor recommendations from several venues we were considering, and she was listed on multiple lists - which felt like a great sign. When I checked out her Instagram, I immediately loved her style: vibrant, comfortable, classic, timeless, and incredibly detail oriented. I noticed she was going on maternity leave and wasn’t sure if our date would work with her schedule, so I felt incredibly fortunate when it did. From our very first phone call, Sara was authentic, fun, and a true ray of sunshine. What stood out most was how she checked in on me and our wedding planning as a whole (not just the photography side) which immediately showed how much she genuinely cared about me and our day. She was also so generous with vendor recommendations, including the planner who ultimately helped bring our entire vision to life. Leading up to the wedding, Sara was responsive and worked closely with my planner, which meant I never once worried about anything photography related. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond, capturing everything we could have hoped for, from flat lays and getting ready moments to the details of our tablescapes, décor, and even open dancing - all while being a new mom! She captured the details of our day with such efficiency and intention that I was able to truly live in the moment and spend time with our guests, which was incredibly important to me and speaks volumes about her experience. Her sneak peeks were delivered unbelievably fast, and our full gallery came just as quickly... both far sooner than expected while still done so beautifully and thoroughly. Sara is truly a gem, both as a person and as a photographer. We are endlessly grateful for her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Hire Sara for any photography needs, you will be so glad you did!

A Wedding Photographer Who Goes Above and Beyond
Sara was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect fit for our special day. She was incredibly professional, punctual, and incredibly talented. Her ability to capture the essence of our love story in every photograph was truly inspiring. We were particularly impressed with her dedication to capturing every moment, even during a tight timeline. She effortlessly gathered our large group for family photos and ensured we had all the shots we wanted before the ceremony. Her assistant was also a fantastic addition to the team, capturing unique perspectives and candid moments. Our engagement shoot with Sara was equally amazing. The photos were stunning and perfectly captured the romantic atmosphere. We highly recommend her to anyone seeking a talented and reliable wedding photographer. We're so impressed with her work that we're already planning to use her services for future milestones in our lives.

We love Sara and we will shout her praises from the rooftops/any other tall structure we happen to come across. For a wedding/engagement photographer, you will find no better choice. She will capture every moment of your event with a careful eye and a caring heart (I cried when we received our final photo set, both the formal photos and the candid shots were perfect!). Her shot composition is immaculate and her professionalism is impeccable; you can trust her implicitly. She also kept everything running smoothly (including gracefully accommodating some of our family members who had some last minute photography requests). Most importantly, she is an absolute joy to work with. She also will go above and beyond for her couples to capture their dreams in photograph-form. What she did for our engagement shoot is particularly emblematic of this/how amazing she is. My now-husband and I had been hoping to incorporate cherry blossoms into our engagement photos (given we had gotten engaged in Japan during their cherry blossom season and currently live in Washington DC, also known for its cherry blossoms), but given the myriads of logistical challenges this posed, we had been ready to accept that it wasn’t in the cards. Sara came through for us and, through considerable effort on her part, found us a perfect cherry blossom spot in full bloom tucked away in Virginia. We had it all to ourselves and our engagement photoshoot was an experience we will treasure always (Sara made it feel so special yet so relaxed and we cannot thank her enough for that amazing day). She brought that same care and joy to our wedding day and her pictures captured it all beautifully. In summary, we cannot recommend Sara highly enough. She will capture every shot of your wedding/engagement perfectly and she will capture your heart as well.
