Let's skip the business part and jump in, heads first, into being best friends?! I love connecting with people who are in love and value the essence of relationships, those big and small moments and everything in between. To live in the moment is my motto, allowing myself to be true to my feelings and always see the bright side of every experience. Maria is the best!!!
We hired Maria to photograph an engagement session & our wedding (ceremony reception). It's hard to know where to begin because she was so fantastic from start to finish. She was quick to respond and very organized, which made planning very easy. She also has such an open and easy way about her - we asked to do half the engagement shoot with our dog and the other half at a nearby but different location alone and she had no qualms whatsoever and we got some of the best photos of our family from it. My husband and I are strangers to professional photos (so bad at posing) but obviously didn't want that overly posed look - Maria was so great about directing us into poses that felt & looked very natura. Wedding day all of our guests thought she was absolutely lovely (because she is) and she captured such incredible photos, we are so blown away. Not sure how to wrap this up, but overall she is professional & organized, very kind and easy going - such a pleasant vibe to be around, and she genuinely wants to showcase you/your love and capture incredible moments. You'd be silly not to book her!!
Gorgeous Wedding Photos, Wonderful Experience
Maria from Rise & Roam Photography was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Both my husband and I didn't want typical, cheesy wedding photos, but rather photos that captured our individual personalities, our love, and the special moments--both big & small--throughout the day and night of our wedding. Maria did just that, and more! Not only is her artistic style what we had been looking for, but Maria made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera, and able to be ourselves. She's professional and yet fun & funny, so we instantly felt at ease with her. She captured all the photos we wanted from the day, and then some, and we are so happy with the finished product. A true delight from the the first conversation with her thoughtful and present questions to get to know us better, to the final galleries where she DELIVERED. Maria was fabulous!
Maria was our wedding photographer, and was absolutely wonderful for the entire experience, would so highly recommend her (and have done so to all my friends, family, wedding guests, etc)! She took time to really get to know us beforehand, and prepped us so we knew exactly what to expect. She blended perfectly with our group the day of, was super helpful while the bridal party was getting ready, and then I don’t recall seeing her again once the reception started. But I know she was there because the photos are gorgeous, perfectly capture our special day! She’s also just a really really nice person, an absolute joy to be around! Thanks so much for everything!
