    We're so happy with how our wedding pictures turned out! Sydney and her second shooter captured so many beautiful moments, and we've had so much fun looking through them and sharing them with our family. She was very communicative throughout the whole process - from booking to the engagement shoot to the wedding day itself. She made sure to get every picture that we requested and in the style that we communicated. Can't recommend her enough!!!

    I can’t say enough amazing things about Sydney! She did our engagement, boudoir & our wedding photos — and every single experience has been incredible! From the moment you meet her, she makes you feel completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Even if you’re awkward like myself she is able to turn that awkwardness into something fun and effortless, and it truly shows in her photos. I cannot recommend her enough!

    This is not a wedding or event photographer. It wasn’t until after our included engagement session that I noticed something was very wrong. The initial “sneak peak” images sent were awful: 1- Not a single image of our faces; 2- all out of focus; 3- items left in photos (like her photography bag and animal feces- we did our session on a farm) which we asked about during the session and she said would be edited out of the photos; 4- the “editing” overall was horrible- clearly just filters slapped on images. I could’ve edited better on an iPhone. Seeing the quality of the work left me shocked, entirely devastated and terrified for my actual wedding (which we had already paid for in full). I thought maybe she just sent the images quickly without fully editing trying to be helpful and was planning to alter later- I thought given what she had advertised this couldn’t possibly BE the final product!? Her images were good!? I wasn’t crazy- I’d chosen her for a reason?? But… it just got worse. The photos I’ve shared above are finals. Sent to us after weeks of no communication at all and us having to ask for several updates. These are some of the better shots from the session- she’s actually used these to advertise on her own FB page- you can go and see for yourself. She’s proud of them- and when split and cut into a social media post alone- they look a little artsy and cute- so she probably continues to get business. But when you see them fully- the actual photos and the poor quality of work- or think of it hung in someone’s home… they make NO sense and are absolutely not able to be used. Why do I want a picture of my chimney? Or a picture where my fiancé’s head is cut off? Or one where my eyes are partially open (every face shot is like this btw)? Advertising yourself as a wedding photographer- showing up to capture ONCE in a lifetime memories only to produce THIS… is shameful. This vendor is technically unskilled. Every image shared was out of focus, under exposed and slapped with the same cliche filter but she’ll claim it’s been edited for “hours.” She is a “social media photographer” at best, with the intention of getting business for herself so she can loop people in with the contract… and get a deposit… then not let you out of it when the work is horribly done. Read the contract- it says you don’t have to like her images and she can keep the money. She is NOT an event photographer and doesn’t care about your memories. I am sharing with the soul purpose of helping others avoid losing thousands of dollars of their wedding budgets and more importantly, their treasured memories. We don't have a single image from our engagement session to share with family or hang in our home. I had to edit my own image for our wedding invitations. We respectfully asked this vendor to return our deposit for the wedding after realizing that our visions would never align- months in advance so she could just rebook and so we could also- and she refused. She completed the engagement session poorly, charged us extra for not keeping our wedding contract, never did a minute of work for our wedding, and kept thousands of dollars ruining our wedding budget. We will never get the memories of our engagement session back. I sincerely hope we can help another couple avoid this wedding pitfall. I would NOT recommend The Moody Momma to any couple planning their wedding or any professional event.

    My husband and I are both not big fans of photos, so the idea of having someone there to focus on us for hours, was scary to say the least. Cue Sydney! She made us both feel so comfortable and the process was painless. She went above and beyond to accommodate who we are as a couple and immediately got our vibe. She is absolutely light and made our day even more special with her energy and talent!
