They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“Eddie & Dave were awesome! They were our DJ and emcee for our wedding ceremony and reception on August 31. Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. The second it was dance time, they got the crowd up and out onto the dance floor in a heartbeat, and most didn’t leave the dance floor until the night was over. DJ was good, knew what songs to play, when to play them, and played the ones I wanted. And the emcee was awesome, funny & easily able to get people involved in whatever!! “We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

They were also very helpful with recommendations based on extensive experience, and even allowed the bride's sister to play their keyboard for the ceremony, which was an over-and-above request they did not have to agree to. “From the very first zoom meeting I knew Eric was our guy! Very professional and accommodating. Once we committed he provided a google doc to figure out or music and how we wanted the flow of our wedding. And let me tell you yesterday he did not miss a beat. The way he adapted to small changes and keeping us on track was truly incredible. We had 3 locations at our venue and he had no issues changing over keeping the day a smooth transition. From ceremony, tent dining to barn dancing the music was just on point. He really knew how to keep the music going and no steel moments. The best part was after all the wedding moments were done we had the dancing in the barn and he had my 150 guest dancing from being to end! I got so many compliments on the play list and was told by my guests that my wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I believe that was because I picked the most AMAZING DJ and the prettiest venue!
