PK and the Mighty Seven
PK and the Mighty Seven is a 9-piece powerhouse band built on a foundation of 10+ years performing weddings as a consistent group. Every horn blast, vocal harmony, and rhythm is sharpened by a decade of musical chemistry. We began with a shared love for high-energy soul and funk and an initial Jamiroquai tribute gig, but today we bring that same authentic energy to everything from timeless classics to modern hits. With world-class vocals and a 3-piece horn section, we deliver a wall-to-wall rallying cry to the dance floor that won't be ignored.
We aren’t a rotating roster of session players who just met at the soundcheck (which sadly is a thing). We’re a well rehearsed family of musicians. This consistency allows us to offer unique experiences most bands can't, like providing our full ensemble for cocktail hour playing lush, intentional arrangements for a soulful atmosphere from the first glass clink. Most importantly, you won't deal with a middleman or sales agent. You plan every detail directly with our drummer and booking manager, Matt. When the person who helps map out your vision is the same person anchoring the rhythm section on your wedding night, we never miss a beat.

Hire this band!!!
PK & The Mighty Seven is INCREDIBLE!! I’m not someone who normally writes reviews, but as a bride who just planned a wedding, I think it’s important to recognize the vendors who truly made our day so special. If you’re considering hiring this band, do yourself a favor and book them. Before the wedding, I was a little unsure since I had never heard them perform live and was relying on Instagram clips, reviews, and recordings from their website. They completely exceeded every expectation. Their talent is unbelievable, and they brought so much energy to the night. We had a smaller reception with about 90 guests, and I was worried about keeping the dance floor full. I didn’t need to be. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was packed and stayed that way all night. They created such an incredible atmosphere and were genuinely so much fun to watch. Their communication and organization leading up to the wedding, as well as on the day itself, were excellent. Everything felt seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy every minute. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. My husband and I truly had the time of our lives. The only thing I would have done differently is hire them to play longer. They were that good. If you’re looking for a band that will keep your guests dancing all night and make your wedding unforgettable, PK & The Mighty Seven is the one.

Best Wedding Band in Boston
PK and the Mighty Seven was THEE best band for our wedding. We had initially seen them play at porchfest and have gone back to see them each year since. They always draw a massive crowd and they kill it every time. For our wedding we considered getting a DJ for a second but boy are we glad we didn’t. PK brought the heat and they worth every penny. Leading up to the wedding, Matt was great to work with. We had a few calls prior to the wedding to plan songs, and we were able to give some definite YESs and NOs based on their extensive song list. They have great Motown, funk, and pop classics on their list, but they also did fantastic renditions of our pop-punk and ska requests. Matt was super responsive and coordinated with the venue about their logistics. During the wedding itself they brought fantastic energy, and know how to read a room. As (amateur) musicians, they even let us come up to play a song with them which was the most special moment and topped everything off. All around, 11 out of 10. Great to work with, professional, and absolutely rock!

YOU. NEED. THIS. BAND.
Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot imagine our wedding day without PK and the Mighty Seven. From the planning phase months before, all the way through the end of the night sharing hugs and tears at how memorable they had made our night, the experience with PKM7 was far beyond anything we even dared hope for. This is not an exaggeration. We are a week post-wedding now and guests are still telling us how good the band was. Let us try to summarize: - Funk, soul, rock band with the most DYNAMIC, POSITIVE two lead singers in Prophet and Sarah, amazing instrumentalists, a brass section that makes your heart swing, and a diplomatic, experienced MC for the evening in Matt (also the drummer!). - Their setlist was perfection: from old standards (Louis Armstrong) to new hits (Pink Pony Club!) - They learned an amazing new song for us (RAYE - Where the h*ll is my husband) (check it out, it makes a great wedding song) - They had the whole party dancing the entire night (again, guests telling us “I never dance, but wow your band had me dancing”) - Their energy and vibe set the most upbeat, magical tone to the evening: everyone was smiling and laughing, and I know it wasn’t just because we are a cute couple. - Our guests were grabbing the band's cards long before the night was over. Beyond the music quality and the logistics, perhaps equally important was that PKM7 understood how important the event was for us. They were respectful and joyful simultaneously. They handled curveballs from the venue with grace and ease. It was a seamless and easy evening for us because of their experience and responsiveness. So you’ve been warned. The dancing will not stop, the smiles will last all week (ours did!), and we can only assume the guests will talk about it for years to come. Enjoy them, they are a treasure.

Best Band Ever!
I first heard PK and the Mighty Seven at a public event, and I knew immediately that I needed to book them for my wedding - they were just too amazing, from the two amazing vocalists to the excellent and interactive brass section! They are high energy, fun, incredibly talented, and connect very well with the audience. The dance floor was never empty at my wedding - they were just too good to not dance to! My father wanted to play a solo for my first dance but was too nervous to perform on his own, and they thoughtfully included him as as featured soloist for my first dance song - they were so kind to him and he felt so comfortable and honored through the process. They also worked with us to learn some new songs off of their set list that were important to us, and provided excellent MC services throughout the wedding. My 3 year old niece/flower girl keeps attempting to send them thank you cards, as she had the time of her life dancing. Do not hesitate to book them, they added so so much to my wedding.

The Mightiest of Wedding Bands!
We hired PK and the Mighty Seven for our wedding after seeing them play at a friend’s wedding a couple of years prior. Honestly, it was up there amongst the best choices we made for our wedding day! All of our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the band was, and how it was the most fun they’ve ever had dancing at a wedding. My now husband danced so hard that he actually ripped his suit pants!! Matt, who we worked with throughout the planning process, was so easy to work with and communicative with from our first conversation all the way through wedding day. He even gave us some questions to ask our venue that we hadn’t thought of, which was very helpful. PK&Co helped us with ceremony audio, and played two sets during the cocktail hour and reception. Their song choices were on point for the crowd, the singers were so good about interacting with our guests in such a fun way, and they even learned two songs for us! Overall, they made our wedding truly special and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone planning an event.
