We are a WOMAN-OWNED and run boutique DJ Agency. We don't provide a cookie-cutter DJ service. We custom design the music to suit you and your fiance. We avoid the corny typical DJ experience so you get exactly what you want to hear at your wedding. We understand that DJing your event involves the perfect combination of bringing fun energy, choosing just the right music and being prepared. We always bring love and FUN to every event we are part of. We fully customize all the music and curate the day so it perfectly matches you.

After working the events and service industry for years as a musician and DJ, our founder Gemma wanted to start the kind of DJ business she would have liked when she was planning her own wedding. Someone easy and fun to talk to, that understood her musical needs. We love working with couples to create the perfect soundtrack. We truly care about everyone we work with. We are really 'down to earth', we pay great attention to detail in the event planning, timeline and music playlists and we make sure every event is custom designed just for you.

    Highly recommend

    We cannot recommend Luvdup DJs and DJ Ty highly enough. From the beginning, the entire experience was professional, responsive, and easy. Our planning meeting with Gemma was a great touch point and gave us confidence that the team understood exactly what we wanted for the wedding. Communications with Morgan throughout the process were also consistently professional, timely, and helpful. DJ Ty was fantastic. He listened to our preferences, understood our taste, and knew how to read the room throughout the entire reception. Once the dancing started, he kept the dance floor alive all night. The music felt like us, our guests were having an incredible time, and the energy never dropped. He struck the perfect balance between honoring what we had asked for and knowing what would keep everyone dancing. Just as important to us was the way DJ Ty and the LuvdUpDJs team approached our marriage and our guests. From our first interactions through the wedding itself, they were respectful, inclusive, and genuinely celebratory of us as a couple. We never felt like our wedding was being treated as anything other than exactly what it was: a celebration of our marriage surrounded by the people we love. There are so many moving pieces to a wedding reception, and having a DJ team you can trust makes an enormous difference. Between the planning meeting with Gemma, our communications with Morgan, and DJ Ty’s execution on the wedding day, every touch point felt thoughtful and professional. Our dance floor was one of our favorite parts of the night, and that is a testament to DJ Ty. We are so grateful to him and the entire LuvdUpDJs team for helping make our wedding such an incredible celebration. We would recommend them without hesitation.

    Felt the Luv 3

    We got married last year, and Gemma just sent us a congratulations text on our first anniversary. We think that perfectly describes what it was like to work with her and the incredible team at Luv’d Up - we could feel so much love for us and genuine excitement for the work they do. Gemma was always available to offer us guidance, which was a huge help in bringing our music and photo plans together. They looked like they were having as much fun as our guests were while also providing excellent DJ, photography, and videography. We could not have been happier with our choice of vendor.     10/10!

    We had a great experience with Luv'd up for our wedding! Gemma was incredible to work with leading up to the day and Ty really listened to us in our planning call and did a great job taking our preferences and music taste into account. We had a last minute change for our first dance song and we switched up the timing on the day of the event and he was so accommodating and cool about it. When Ty heard we used to do Karaoke with our friends, he suggested handing the mic over to the crowd for the last song which was such a highlight from the night! We would totally book with Luv'd up again!

    Excellent DJ service

    Excellent DJ service, was exactly what we were looking for. Created a fun atmosphere, wonderful dance party. You feel very comfortable and not like the DJ is making the night all about them. They also covered our ceremony music and provided the mics/speakers during our ceremony and everything turned out beautifully.

YES! This is one of our specialities. Although we already have a HUGE range of music in our catalog and in our knowledge from working in music, we LOVE learning new songs for an event. Our founder is musically trained and is used to learning new songs to actually perform in a short time, so this is second nature to us.
We arrive minimum of 2hrs in advance of guests and the event starting. Why? Because we like to allow time for any unexpected changes that can occur in a venue or anything else that may come up. We like to be set up and ready to go early so that your event begins in a calm and smooth way.
We certainly can....however, we like to check in with our couples or whoever hires us to see what their preference is. Some couples don't want us to take any requests. If you do, we are more than happy to take requests and will accommodate them as best as we can. We come to your event with thousands of songs, so 99.9% of the time we can play a request anyone asks for.
We always check with our clients what the dress code is. Most often we dress formal. We can color coordinate according to the color theme of the event if necessary and/or wear a particular style. We like to glam it up a bit, as we love style, so you may see us in some fabulous metallic pants at one event, or in a strapless ballgown at another. It just depends on the dress code.
We certainly do! We can provide stylish, low profile, speaker set ups for both ceremonies and cocktail receptions. We also can help you choose the perfect music for both these parts of the evening.
We can provide uplighting and party dance floor lighting.
