The Other Wedding DJ
I’ve been a touring drummer for the last decade with Pattern is Movement. I’ve had the pleasure to share the stage with artists like The Roots, St. Vincent, Dirty Projectors, Shabazz Palaces and tour all around the world. I’ve also been booking shows for years at Philly’s own Johnny Brenda’s. My life revolves around music and that is why I love to DJ.
All of my years of listening to and performing music have helped me hone my ability to read a crowd and when I’m spinning a wedding – my focus is to get and keep the party going. So, when you hire me, you’ll get a DJ who is emotionally invested in your day. We’ll work together to figure out the songs you’ve got to hear on that special day as well the ones you do not want played. My job is to get everyone dancing from your Grandma to your best friend and I take that responsibility seriously!

This is my most common package. Most weddings have a cocktail hour that is not within the reception space. I will bring a PA for the cocktail hour as well as my usual Reception setup.

The Wedding DJ You Need
Chris did an AMAZING job at our wedding. He was so easy to work with and carefully curated a playlist of our favorite songs and added his own touch to fit every moment perfectly. He kept everyone on the dance floor. I've never danced so much at a wedding. Highly recommend hiring him. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him! If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Chris was a joy to work with. He took the time to really get to know us as a couple and our music tastes. It is clear he is very passionate about what he does and just wants to create a beautiful atmosphere for his clients. He was able to adapt to our guest preferences during the wedding itself, keeping people on the dance floor well into the night. He also did an excellent job cuing our special dances and introductions. We'd highly recommend!

We originally reached out to Chris as we weren't interested in the traditional DJ experience. We were all on the same page about what we wanted out of the music aspect of our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome! He made lots of great suggestions for curating the best playlist for our guests and his communication was amazing

The Other Wedding DJ was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Chris, the owner, was incredibly clear, prompt, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He met with us twice before the big day to ensure we were completely comfortable and answered all of our questions. Chris provided excellent recommendations for the music and playlist, helping us set the perfect vibe for the our cocktail hour and reception. The quality of his work was truly the best - he was professional and kept people on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to be a part of our wedding. All of our guests raved about the playlist weeks after the wedding!
