The Other Wedding DJ
I’ve been a touring drummer for the last decade with Pattern is Movement. I’ve had the pleasure to share the stage with artists like The Roots, St. Vincent, Dirty Projectors, Shabazz Palaces and tour all around the world. I’ve also been booking shows for years at Philly’s own Johnny Brenda’s. My life revolves around music and that is why I love to DJ.
All of my years of listening to and performing music have helped me hone my ability to read a crowd and when I’m spinning a wedding – my focus is to get and keep the party going. So, when you hire me, you’ll get a DJ who is emotionally invested in your day. We’ll work together to figure out the songs you’ve got to hear on that special day as well the ones you do not want played. My job is to get everyone dancing from your Grandma to your best friend and I take that responsibility seriously!

This is my most common package. Most weddings have a cocktail hour that is not within the reception space. I will bring a PA for the cocktail hour as well as my usual Reception setup.

Best DJ
The Other Wedding DJ was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Chris, the owner, was incredibly clear, prompt, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He met with us twice before the big day to ensure we were completely comfortable and answered all of our questions. Chris provided excellent recommendations for the music and playlist, helping us set the perfect vibe for the our cocktail hour and reception. The quality of his work was truly the best - he was professional and kept people on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to be a part of our wedding. All of our guests raved about the playlist weeks after the wedding!

The Best DJ in Town
If music is important to you, Chris simply is your guy. He's like a walking music encyclopedia that can distill your tastes into the perfect event soundtrack. Working with him to curate a playlist for each section of our wedding was not only a breeze, but a genuine delight. We had a great time nerding out over our favorite bands, local shows, etc., and at the end of it all we were confident he had a deep understanding of our vision for the evening. When it comes to the day itself, Chris is a true professional. He was at the venue early to set up and expertly managed the atmosphere from the ceremony through the reception. He exceeded our expectations for the dance party, cooking up a set that kept us and our guests glued to the dance floor. It was an absolute highlight of the evening. Hands down, Chris was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. Do yourself a favor and hire him. I promise you won't regret it.
The BEST wedding DJ!
Chris!!!! We're about 2 weeks out from our wedding and can't stop saying how we had a perfect day through and through. Chris was an amazing vendor to work with from start to finish. The consultation and booking process was easy and informative and once booked, he uses an app where you organize the music by each section of the wedding (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dance Floor, etc.), it was super easy to use and made it fun to go through and add/remove music as needed. Every conversation we had with Chris was easy, fun and full of useful information! Chris is not only a DJ, but a real music lover, and a downright nice person, I can't recommend him enough. If music is an important part of your wedding like it was to us, then you can't do better than Chris. 10/10
