SimplyCole Florals

5.0

Philadelphia, PA
  • Starts at $3,000

My whole life I have been inspired by all things beautiful and creative from the smallest wild flower, to incredible works of art. I try to embrace all beauty around me, into the work I do. I always knew an office job would not work well for my creative soul… this led me down many paths from carpentry, merchandising, interior design amongst many other pursuits… but the moment I made my first bouquet, I finally knew flowers were my ultimate passion. From that time on, I have never looked back into the rearview mirror, once I committed to becoming the best designer that I can be.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was so happy Cole was available for our wedding date! I noticed her beautiful florals on Instagram when venue hunting and was immediately drawn to her whimsical style. Before booking, she created a mood board that perfectly captured my discussed vision and gave me a quote that fit my budget needs. During the wedding planning process, she was quick to respond to any and all questions or additions that I wanted to make via email and also did a final overview on the phone. The day of the wedding, Cole did an amazing job at bringing the vision to life! She completely exceeded my expectations! Everyone commented on how lovely the florals were (in addition to the colorful candles and citrus and greenery that she also added). Cole is simply amazing! Thank you so much Cole for making our day so so special!

    Woodland Floral Design Co.

    5.0

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha is an absolutely fantastic florist and a wonderful human. Within 5 minutes of our first call, I knew I wanted to work with her. We were planning a slightly unorthodox wedding & Misha understood our vision immediately! She ran with it and created the most beautiful flowers, from my bouquet to the decorative flowers around our venue, she made our dream come to life! And all throughout the process, she was so kind, not just handling the vision but also checking in on me as a person, and taking stress off of my plate. If you get the opportunity to work with Misha, TAKE IT!!!!!! She is simply the best.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    4.9

    • Starts at $350
    • Serves Philadelphia, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I knew I had some craft skills and did not want to hire a florist, so found Flower Moxie online to do the flowers myself for my daughter's wedding. Maria was very helpful and responsive. I scheduled a phone call to answer my questions and then placed an order for loose flowers and greenery, mixed boxes, and premade wearables and bouquets. I felt the pricing was reasonable. I ordered the vases etc. online along with extra ribbon and pins. Please know you have to refrigerate the wearables, I recommend a wine fridge for the slightly warmer temperature. The flowers arrived as described, and although the corsages seemed small, they actually wore just fine. I was able to add some color to the bridal bouquet with the loose flowers. I found the process to be low-cost, low-stress, and again Maria was so very helpful that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My daughter loved what I was able to do.

    5.0

    • Starts at $175
    • Serves Philadelphia, PA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Ruby Rivers Floral

    4.9

    • Serves Philadelphia, PA

Hello, I’m Julia, owner of Ruby Rivers Floral, named after my oldest of four children, and only daughter. I am incredibly excited for your day! Making artwork with flowers to celebrate love has been bringing me so much joy for years, and truly feels like more than a dream come true. My favorite part about my company is being able to connect with couples and help them bring their vision to life with expressing the beauty of who they are in florals! Reach out to me through my website or Instagram. I can’t wait to chat!

Julia was so fun to work with! She took the stress out of the process and worked with our budget (which changed a few times!) and totally understand our vision and executed it perfectly. This was no small task either as we had 3 different locations. Including the hotel to drop off bouquets, the ceremony set up, and then the reception all in different locations. If there were any issues, I never knew! Julia pullled it all together seamlessly and with the most positive kind personality. She even did a walk through a few weeks before the wedding with me to really understand the vision! One of the best decisions I made!

Laura, right from the beginning all the way through, was a ray of sunshine - such a doll. She spent a lot of time discussing my vision with me until we felt it was just right. And she DELIVERED. The florals were gorgeous - my bridesmaids were obsessed with their bouquets, the arch florals were magical, and even the venue told us the next day that they were the best flowers they saw all season [we got married end of Oct ;)] Laura was delightful to work with and I highly recommend her!

A Floral Designs made our fairytale come true. Ayana and her team are incredibly talented, have an unmatched eye for detail/style, are communicative, and reliable. When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right. Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. We visited her shop where she gave us beautiful displays of what we could expect on our big day. Most importantly, she worked with our budget to achieve our vision. She also came along during our venue walkthroughs so she could see the space and be adequately prepared for the wedding day. She’s also a kind person—which may not seem important now but trust me! The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!
