For what it’s worth, I’ve been a DJ my entire career. I started off in radio, where I worked at Penn’s WXPN, among others. I started “No Macarena” at the height of the line dance craze and have been in the wedding business ever since. I love what I do. I get to DJ and make people happy on one of the biggest days of their life. Other loves are singing with two different bands, biking the Schuylkill River Trail, trolling BuzzFeed for dinner ideas and crafting the perfect cocktail.

    Darrel was our DJ, and he was absolutely AMAZING! From the start, he really listened to the vibe we were going for and made sure to incorporate most of our playlist, along with some fantastic additional tracks that kept the energy high. We were dancing all night! Since my husband and his family are musicians, choosing the right DJ was really important to us—and something we spent time researching. No Macarena DJ stood out because they offer a range of services, including live music, and they’re musicians themselves. We were looking for someone with music in their blood who could bring the funk and keep the party going—and Darrel checked every box. He had the barn bouncin’ all night long! Another thing we loved is that they don’t rely on the same tired wedding playlist you hear at every reception. The music felt fresh and totally us. Plus, Darrel doesn’t talk over the music or interrupt the flow of the night—unless you ask him to. His presence was professional and smooth, letting the music do the work, which we really appreciated

    Sarah and Chris were INCREDIBLE. They had an easy but detailed form to fill out to make planning super simple and straightforward. They were very responsive and checked in often through and calls and emails leading up to our wedding. There were a lot of questions that we didn’t have answers to that they took care of, and were super knowledgeable about every single step. At the wedding, they were not only amazing DJs who kept the crowd dancing all night, but they also provided live acoustic music throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour. Chris emceed the entire event flawlessly. He hyped up the crowd leading up to every announcement and was accommodating and supportive when we asked for last minute changes. Finally, they checked in after our day and sent us beautiful photos from the DJ booth. I had a completely stress free event thanks to them, and I would recommend them to literally anyone for their day.

    We worked with Kim and she was a pleasure to work with. She did a great job balancing what we wanted with what the crowd wanted. We made some audibles during the ceremony and she kept everything moving. You are in good hands with No Macarena.
