About this venue
Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.

The Garden Shed
A beautifully rustic space paired with modern amenities for celebrations of all kinds.
The Garden Shed boasts original features that are complemented by contemporary additions and amenities to create a charming and rustic setting for celebrations year-round. Enjoy access to the adjoining Hot House, which serves as an extension of the reception room. With ample space for both dining and dancing, the room features barnwood floors, twinkling festival lights, farmhouse tables and seating, and rotating seasonal adornments.

One Fabulous Day!
From our first conversation to the day of our wedding, Terrain at Styer's was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Our coordinator, Maura was helpful and kind throughout the planning process, always making sure we felt supported. On our wedding day, Maura & Morgan made certain that everything we wanted was accomplished while keeping the vibe relaxed for us and our guests. The venue itself is stunning for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony, giving us the flexibility to plan exactly what we envisioned. We truly enjoyed the whole experience working with her and the team. We'd recommend Terrain at Styer's to any couple looking for a beautiful space with staff that genuinely cares about making your day special.

The BEST venue
We could not have asked for a better venue or team than Terrain at Styer’s! From the very beginning, everyone was so accommodating and made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. They were especially wonderful about working with my dietary restrictions and allergies, which meant so much to us and gave me one less thing to worry about on our wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and our guests could not stop complimenting it all day long. Everything about the space made our wedding feel so beautiful and special. The team truly helped make both the planning process and the actual wedding day feel like a dream. We are so grateful we chose Terrain and would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team!

The most magical day
From our first conversation with Terrain at Styer's, we knew we had found our venue. The team responded quickly to every question and treated us with genuine kindness throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, the staff went above and beyond—from the waiters to the coordinators, everyone was attentive and made sure we felt taken care of. I even had a personal assistant who helped me transition between locations and outfit changes, which made such a difference in how I could enjoy the day. The Perfect Place to Get Married
From start to finish, Terrain at Styer's kept us in the loop and made sure we felt supported every step of the way. The staff was genuinely helpful on our wedding day, handling details so we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. We had private hors d'oeuvres after the ceremony just the two of us, while our guests had theirs at cocktail hour (which they all raved about afterward how amazing they were!) The time for the two of us felt like such a gift in the middle of all the excitement. The garden setting is stunning, and they worked with us to make our vision come to life without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with a team that actually cares about making your day special, we can't recommend Terrain highly enough.

Thee BEST Venue!
Terrain at Styer's was hands down the best venue to host our wedding/reception. EVERYTHING was amazing! It was the only venue we actually went to visit and we immediately fell in love with it. The communication was very clear from day one. Frequent enough as the wedding got closer to keep us well informed but not overwhelmed. All of the employees were great and clearly take pride in their role to make your wedding exactly what you dreamt it would be. Special shout out to Maura and Hen. Chefs kiss!!! The food and ambiance were perfect. Everything you need in one beautiful location. All of our guests loved the venue and couldn't stop complimenting our choice and the overall service. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TERRAIN!
