About this venue
Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.

The Garden Shed
A beautifully rustic space paired with modern amenities for celebrations of all kinds.
The Garden Shed boasts original features that are complemented by contemporary additions and amenities to create a charming and rustic setting for celebrations year-round. Enjoy access to the adjoining Hot House, which serves as an extension of the reception room. With ample space for both dining and dancing, the room features barnwood floors, twinkling festival lights, farmhouse tables and seating, and rotating seasonal adornments.

Amazing!
Working with Terrain was a great experience; we really got so much for the price! They had several different price packages too, so we were able to choose what worked best for us. Having a Terrain coordinator included was perfect - we worked with Courtney, and she was so helpful throughout the planning process and was really flexible and quick to respond to our questions. The Terrain staff on the day of the wedding were so lovely and helpful, and really helped keep the day moving. Even with a few small hiccups, they were quick to resolve and recoup to make sure everything was on track. The food and drink were also incredible! I can't reccomend Terrain at Styer's enough. We also found our DJ (Luv'd Up) and photographer (Connie Chen Photography) through Terrain's recommended vendors, and we are incredibly happy with them as well.
Dream Garden Wedding!
Terrain at Styer’s was an absolute dream venue for us to host our special day! Our planner Maura was so amazing and helped us through every aspect of our day. The staff on the day of our wedding were super friendly and so helpful and made us feel so confident in the service we were providing for our guests. The venue itself was so beautiful and was such a dream to be in. Would recommend Terrain to anyone!!!
A beautiful place to have a dream wedding
Everyone that attended our wedding, let us know the food and drinks were amazing. My husband and I were also so happy with the quality and quantity of the food! That the day of your wedding will be so smooth and that it was beautiful. We would highly recommend, especially to a bride like me who had no idea where to start and ended up with an event that I got so many compliments on! Our event coordinator, Carla, was an amazing human being. She was kind and patient with me and made me feel so supported. I could never thank her enough for all of her help.
Beautiful Venue, Amazing staff
I would recommend terrain to everyone!! My husband and I were married here in May 2025 and we had such a wonderful experience. The food is amazing and all of the staff were so helpful and pleasant to work with. Our guests continue to rave about the food and comment on the beauty of the venue. The event coordinator was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process, it’s obvious that they know what they are doing when it comes to event planning.
