  • A beautiful venue for a unique event!

The Reading Public Museum was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. Braden was wonderful all the way through the process from making changes to the floor plan and organizing the rehearsal to assisting relatives with mobility issues and event printing out my vows at the last minute. All the staff went above and beyond to help make our day perfect. When we came to pick up our stuff the next day, the front of house staff even let my husband and I come in and check out some of the exhibits that we had missed seeing during the reception. The garden outside was gorgeous for our ceremony - exactly the outdoor feeling we wanted and with so many beautiful flowers that there's no need for an additional decor. Having family and friends spread out between the well-kept beds felt magical coming over the bridge surrounded by trees and greenery. Our reception in the Museum galleries was absolutely perfect. We've gotten so many compliments from friends and family in the months since that our wedding was the most fun and cool wedding they'd ever been to. The beautiful galleries allowed us to get away with limited decor, and there was something for everyone to enjoy all around the Museum. Braden and the Museum were so flexible allowing us to have our reception exactly as long as we wanted it to be with guests coming and going from different galleries and stopping to spend some time on the dance floor. The whole event was exactly what we wanted it to be, and we couldn't have gotten that at any other venue.

Braden was particularly wonderful. He was there every step of the way and was always ready to make suggestions if we needed them. He has a very calming presence which is always helpful in stressful situations. The Reading Museum was so helpful all throughout the process and especially on our wedding day. I can't say enough good things about them.

We got married at the planetarium on 11/04/2023. It was perfect! Kara Seawell, and Braden Stone, were so hospitable. They answered all our questions, went above and beyond to make our day perfect. And made sure the day was perfect. We couldn’t ask for more. They even helped us make decisions as we got closer to wedding day.
