About this venue

The Willows is a historic hilltop wedding venue in Villanova on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Built in 1910, the Spanish Revival mansion sits within 49 acres of parkland with rolling hills, mature trees, trails and a picturesque pond. Outdoor ceremonies take place against the mansion’s distinctive curved stucco wall and fountain. Cocktail hour can move through the mansion and terraces, followed by dinner beneath a white tent on the hillside and dancing in the mansion’s light-filled solarium. The Willows accommodates weddings of up to 150 guests during tent season, with smaller winter celebrations inside the mansion. Weddings at The Willows are catered by Peachtree Weddings. Menus are seasonal and customizable, with food prepared largely from scratch in our own kitchen. Our full-service planning team also assists with timelines, floor plans, rentals and equipment, ceremony rehearsals and other details leading up to the wedding day.

Set on the hilltop beside the mansion, the peaked tent overlooks the estate's lawns and mature trees and provides the setting for dinner and toasts. Afterward, guests move into the solarium for dancing.

A gracious foyer, a sweeping stair with a beautiful chandelier, a dark-paneled library, dining room and solarium give the mansion its character. It is a handsome, welcoming home base for the wedding day.

The Perfect Wedding Venue!
Our wedding at The Willows was truly everything we dreamed it would be and more! From the breathtaking venue to the incredible food and exceptional service, we couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate. The Willows is absolutely stunning, with a unique combination of historic charm, gorgeous grounds, and beautifully designed spaces. The mansion has so much character, and the entire property feels both elegant and welcoming. Our guests were blown away by the setting, and our wedding photos are everything we hoped they'd be! Peachtree Catering exceeded our expectations throughout planning and on our wedding day. Having in-house wedding planning and coordination was an incredible bonus and made the process so much easier. Our coordinator, Stephanie, was wonderful! She was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. She understood our vision, offered thoughtful guidance, and genuinely cared about making our day special. We also loved being able to personalize our package with a few fun extras, including passed espresso martinis and mini margaritas. They were such a hit with our guests and made the celebration feel even more like us! The bar offerings were fantastic, and the bartenders were friendly and efficient. And the FOOD! We cannot say enough about how incredible everything was. From the hors d'oeuvres to the main course and desserts, the presentation and quality were impeccable. We received SO many compliments, with guests going out of their way to tell us how impressed they were. Peachtree made the food one of the highlights of our wedding! Our wedding day management team, especially Key, Mie, and Jason, was equally fantastic. Everyone was organized, responsive, attentive, and endlessly cheerful. They anticipated our needs, handled every detail seamlessly, and made sure both we and our guests felt taken care of. We could genuinely relax and enjoy our wedding because we knew we were in such capable hands. Another detail that speaks volumes is how much our other vendors loved working at The Willows. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the property and the team, and that collaboration helped the day run so smoothly. What makes The Willows and Peachtree so special is the complete experience: a truly unique property, exceptional food, thoughtful planning, and a team that genuinely cares. We felt supported from our first conversations through the final moments of our wedding. We wholeheartedly recommend The Willows and Peachtree to anyone planning a wedding or special event. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we'll always look back on our day with the happiest memories. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful venue or a better team!

Perfect Wedding Venue!
From our first conversation with The Willows, we knew we had found our venue. The team was clear and kind throughout the entire planning process, answering every question we had without hesitation. On our wedding day, they made everything seamless and stress-free, allowing us to focus on what mattered most—celebrating with our loved ones. The space itself is absolutely stunning and timeless, with plenty of room for all our guests to move around comfortably. The entire team worked together like a well-oiled machine to keep the day flowing perfectly, handling all the details behind the scenes so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We can't recommend The Willows enough to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a staff that genuinely cares about making your day special.

Why can't I give them more than 5 stars??
The Willows is just an incredible place to have your wedding. I wouldn't have changed a thing. We found this venue last in our search and knew it was the perfect one. The venue is gorgeous - the mansion foyer, library, solarium, and patio all offer a different vibe, each equally as gorgeous. Guests would not stop commenting on how beautiful the views were (we also got lucky with a beautiful day)! Working with Chelsea as our main coordinator and Romy as our attendant were just about the best two people we could have had on our wedding day. Attentive, understanding, flexible, and just so kind. The food was exceptional, guests couldn't stop raving about this as well. Truly the perfect day!
