About this venue
The newest Terrain location, Terrain Gardens at DelVal, is situated on the campus of Delaware Valley University, granted with a historic charm that allows for a uniquely memorable experience. Adjacent to Terrain at DelVal, Terrain Gardens beautifully merges indoor and outdoor spaces to create unexpected color and texture combinations resulting in a one-of-a-kind beauty. The venue is adorned with elements like natural wood floors, vintage-style chandeliers, and skylights to create a unique aesthetic. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at DelVal boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at DelVal is located at 2100 Lower State Rd, 1 hour outside of Philadelphia.

Terrain offers natural setting with farmhouse-inspired architecture. The Ceremony Garden, overlooks the property’s orchard, and is anchored by the Garden House, a small English-style structure. Trellis Hall boasts high ceilings accented by chandelliers and a floor to ceiling wirework garden vine treillage on a focal wall will be the place for your ceremony in the event of inclement weather. Our venue adjacents the lush nursery grounds at terrain, with seasonally inspired installations.

A MUST Book venue
I cannot recommend Terrain enough as a wedding venue. We had such a fantastic, time. I do not have words to explain how amazing everything was. Every guest came up and told us it was one of the most gorgeous and classy weddings they had every been to. Everyone RAVED about the food. We had a friend say “this is the first wedding I became food drunk before actual drunk.” (Positive!!) The coordinators anticipated our every need and had them taken care of before we could even say anything. They were exceptional!
Summer 2025 - Terrain Del Val
Multiple guests shared that this was the best food they had had at a wedding. - We agree If I had to give advice to couples in the beginning stages of wedding planning I would share the following: 1. When choosing a wedding venue, many people focus on the location and overlook the food. But food matters — it’s what your guests will remember. And Terrain delivers. The food is incredible and absolutely worth prioritizing. 2. I spent too much time worrying about the little details. I’d tell any future couple: trust Terrain, trust the venue — it’s beautiful. Don’t stress over the small things you feel you need to control; Terrain has it covered. 3. If the only availability at Terrain is a Friday — book it! A Friday wedding means you get to celebrate your wedding all weekend long. (our guests loved having two days to relax and recover after the wedding) 4. Terrain is perfect — the atmosphere is magical. It truly becomes even more special when all your closest friends and family are there, filling the space. Overall everything was amazing — Madison, our event coordinator was absolutely incredible, I could not have asked for a better coordinator, the food was outstanding, and the venue was perfect. I couldn’t have imagined a better place or team to help us celebrate our special day. I hate that it’s over!
Fantastic Venue and Service!
Terrain Gardens at DelVal was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was frequent and incredibly helpful, simplifying what can often be an overwhelming experience. The venue itself was spacious and perfect for our celebration, with a beautiful, natural setting that exceeded our expectations. The value was also quite reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the experience. All of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended, and they raved about the delicious hors d'oeuvres. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, thanks to the wonderful team at Terrain Gardens!
A Perfect Wedding Day
We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Madison I was such a great help! She was super sweet and knew what she was doing for the 6 months leading up to the wedding and on the actual day she kept everything on schedule flawlessly. We felt so taken care of on the day of the wedding and could genuinely enjoy our wedding day without stress.
