About this venue
The newest Terrain location, Terrain Gardens at DelVal, is situated on the campus of Delaware Valley University, granted with a historic charm that allows for a uniquely memorable experience. Adjacent to Terrain at DelVal, Terrain Gardens beautifully merges indoor and outdoor spaces to create unexpected color and texture combinations resulting in a one-of-a-kind beauty. The venue is adorned with elements like natural wood floors, vintage-style chandeliers, and skylights to create a unique aesthetic. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at DelVal boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at DelVal is located at 2100 Lower State Rd, 1 hour outside of Philadelphia.

Terrain offers natural setting with farmhouse-inspired architecture. The Ceremony Garden, overlooks the property’s orchard, and is anchored by the Garden House, a small English-style structure. Trellis Hall boasts high ceilings accented by chandelliers and a floor to ceiling wirework garden vine treillage on a focal wall will be the place for your ceremony in the event of inclement weather. Our venue adjacents the lush nursery grounds at terrain, with seasonally inspired installations.

Terrain at DelVal Was Our Perfect Venue!
We knew the moment we walked around it had our exact vibe from the physical layout and decor, to the staff and their event management team. There was a lot of “wedding fluff” we wanted to remove from our wedding and Terrain happily accommodated this without making us feel we were losing something on our day or not following “the norm”. Once we booked them, the communication was a perfect amount for me. I am very type A and had spreadsheets, a planning binder, etc., and always felt from our meetings and emails that the staff there were not missing anything, were constantly responding to me timely, and were very serious about making sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted while maintaining a positive and friendly vibe. Their questionnaires and planning meetings covered everything and there was rarely a moment I had any lingering questions or concerns. If I did, they would always answer me and address them! On the actual wedding day, every single staff member went above and beyond. Truly everyone was so kind and friendly and on top of their portion of work for the day, I didn’t doubt a single one of them! Specifically, our wedding coordinators and bridal attendants were AMAZING! I knew they’d be there to help out that day - but they cared for us, tended to our every single possible need, and were on top of the one to two issues that came up without letting me event sweat about it. They did not let us stress for a moment, and they were so lovingly attentive I felt I could go to them for anything - a concern, some advice, a dirty wedding dress, an app I missed or fresh drink, ANYTHING! They were really amazing from arrival to departure. They even helped packing everything up so I got to dance the night away and let go! I felt like they were my guardian angels or something! Truly amazing work done by them, I wish they could be there for me for other big events! The wedding went off without a hitch, and our guests absolutely raved about the food, drinks, and staff. We have a few big allergy concerns in our families, and Terrain handled them diligently throughout the evening as if it were their own family. These members of our family came up to us as well and expressed how they felt so safe and included, one cousin told me she hasn’t had a 3 course meal in half a decade, but Terrain made it possible for her to so. I don’t know how it could get much better than that for your wedding guests. Overall, the vibe of the venue can be ‘dressed up’ or down, you can add more decor or leave it as is and it’s gorgeous. I think this venue for that reason can be great for the minimal bride(s) and groom(s) or for those who want to go all out on decor. Terrain will help you either way ensure the space is setup perfectly to your vision. We truly had an amazing wedding and we have no regrets on any aspect. Terrain and our vendors were perfectly matched and all came together beautifully to give us a perfect day! I wish we could go back in time and do it all again!! Thankfully, they have their restaurant we can visit for special occasions, but nothing is better than your wedding day, so don’t hesitate to book them for yours!

Book Terrain--It is as magical as it looks
We had the most incredible experience at Terrain Gardens for our wedding on March 29th. From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless. Their online portal for payments and planning made keeping track of deadlines and documents so easy. We also have to give a massive shout-out to our coordinator, Tiffany. She was an absolute dream to work with! She was organized, responsive, and made us feel so at ease leading up to the big day. On the day of, she was constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Terrain will always have YOU in mind every step of the way! As a bride who DIY'ed all the decor including floral arrangements, I was a bit nervous about the logistics. However, Tiffany and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. Their support made the setup feel effortless rather than stressful. The venue itself is gorgeous. Since we married in late March, we knew the weather could be completely unpredictable. The beauty of Terrain is that the indoor and outdoor spaces are both so stunning that we didn't have to stress about a backup plan. Whether you're inside or out, the atmosphere is magical. The food was incredible—our guests are still raving about it! Beyond the big things, Terrain kept surprising me throughout the planning process with thoughtful little details and "extra" touches that I hadn't even anticipated. Those small, intentional gestures made the day feel so much more personal and special. We truly had the perfect, stress-free day we were hoping for. Thank you, Tiffany and the Terrain Gardens team, for making our vision come to life!

From our first conversation with the team at Terrain Gardens at DelVal, we knew we had found the right venue. Matt was fantastic and always responded quickly to our questions, making the planning process feel easy and stress-free. The space itself is dreamy and whimsical, with natural beauty that made our wedding feel like something out of a storybook. On the day of our wedding, Matt was there whenever we needed him, and the bridal attendant took wonderful care of us throughout the celebration. The food was fantastic and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. We're so grateful to the whole team for making our special day absolutely perfect. Shout out to terrain by design for the amazing florals.

Perfect isn't even enough to describe our wedding experience with terrain DelVal. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Everyone we had the chance to interact with was great. We had Paige as our coordinator and she was just awesome. She was super easy to get in touch with and always happy to help. The space itself is stunning. The second we walked in I was ready to book. The indoor ceremony space was perfect for our winter wedding. The FOOD omg..I am still hearing about how good it was. I've had so many people tell me it was hands down the best wedding food they've ever had. Some have since gone back to go to the restaurant because of it. I can't recommend terrain enough. Trust me, book it!

Terrain helped me have a perfect day!
Everyone was so happy and kept saying the food was delicious. Terrain was always very organized and responsive! I had no regrets at all and would recommend getting married at any terrain event space! Matthew & Morgan went above and beyond to help us on our special day. We feel so lucky that everything went smoothly.
