Jagua (ha-gua), or Genipa Americana, is a traditional fruit-based dye from South & Central America (traditionally used by indigenous tribes in the Amazon Rainforest). What color is jagua? The stain is dark blue-almost black. How long can jagua last? Jagua can last 2-3 weeks, but usually looks fresh for about 1.5 weeks & then starts fading, depending on how fast your skin is renewing itself.
Hengua is the combined recipe of henna paste and jagua juice! You take the best qualities of each and get a magical darker henna-like color but longer lasting like jagua. What color is the stain? hengua stains a darker burgundy sometimes plum color. How long can hengua last? With proper aftercare, hengua lasts 1.5-2.5 weeks, but usually looks fresh for about a week & starts fading after that.
Henna is a plant, Lawsonia Inermis, said to be indigenous to Egypt and in use for at least 5000 years. Useful both as a folk medicine and as a decorative cosmetic, the henna plant was eventually spread around the Middle East, North Africa, and the Persian Gulf, finally reaching the Indian Subcontinent and Central Asia. The leaves of the plant contain a dye molecule, lawsone, which colors the skin.
Henna only comes in one color that ranges depending on the quality of the powder/paste, how fresh it is and how long it's left on the skin. The color ranges from a light brown to a deep rich burgundy.
With proper aftercare and preparation, henna can last 1.5 - 2 weeks, but usually looks fresh for about a week & starts fading after that, depending on how fast your skin is renewing itself.

The best spiritual henna in BK

I have been doing henna with naty for over 4 yrs now. Naty is professional and very punctual, she takes pride in her work and her office space makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable you just want to talk to her about everything. Now her work is out of this world she connects with you spiritually and when you let her freestyle your design it comes out to this beautiful piece of artwork reflecting the vibe in the room.
