Disruptive, Unprofessional During Wedding Ceremony
We hired this company as a string quartet for our wedding ceremony, and unfortunately the experience was deeply disappointing. During our ceremony, one of the musicians was on their phone and a video played loudly, completely interrupting the moment and pulling all attention away from us. Our ceremony was under 15 minutes, making this disruption even more upsetting and inexcusable. To make matters worse, the musician involved, along with another ensemble member, laughed immediately afterward, which felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive during what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime moment. When we raised this concern, the owner acknowledged the incident but explained that phone usage during ceremonies is allowed for social media and business content unless couples specifically request otherwise. This expectation was never disclosed in our contract or discussed with us at any point. As first-time wedding planners juggling countless details, it never crossed our minds that we would need to proactively request that professional musicians stay off their phones during a live ceremony. We were offered a minimal refund that did not reflect the severity or impact of what occurred. Weddings are intimate, meaningful events, and professionalism and discretion should be non-negotiable. We would strongly caution other couples to clarify expectations in writing and consider whether this level of professionalism aligns with what they want on their wedding day.
Great Performance
Strings for Celebrations was an excellent choice for our wedding band. They were easy to work with and had great communication leading up to the big day. The band played very well and learned the cover songs we requested perfectly. Their performance during our ceremony was flawless, and they were punctual and affordable. We were thrilled with the energy they brought to the reception and would highly recommend Strings for Celebrations to any couple looking for a talented and professional wedding band.
Amazing music addition to our special day!
We absolutely loved the music provided by the violinist from Strings for Celebrations. The vendor was respectful, provided clear and prompt communication, and was flexible to work with. Caity is an amazing violinist, who expertly played all of the requests we had, and everyone was in awe of her skills. We were so grateful we added this to our special day and have no regrets! If we ever need live music again, we will definitely use Strings for Celebrations again. Thank you again for all of your help in making sure our wedding day was so special and will forever be remembered.

Strings for Celebrations helped make our wedding day feel truly special with the beautiful music they performed during our mass and cocktail hour. The performance was absolutely stunning and added such a meaningful and elegant touch to the day. It really elevated the whole experience for us and our guests! Natalie was also the best to work with. She was super responsive and made the whole process really smooth and stress-free. We loved that their song list had so many different classical and modern options. We’re so glad Strings for Celebrations was part of our day. It wouldn’t have been the same without them!
