    Elegance Quartet is THE BEST!

    Hiring Elegance Quartet was possibly the best decision we made during the entire wedding process. Three months later when I run into my family they still mention the music from the wedding! We had a unique setup which necessitated a jazz quartet for an introductory cocktail reception, classical string arrangements for the ceremony, plus a DJ and live sax for the dance party after. Elegance Quartet’s reputation and relationships really delivered here, as they were able to round out their expertise with string instruments and as DJs to bring some of the best musicians in Philadelphia to make the dream come true. The execution was flawless. More generally, working with Jenny and Ray was a refreshing change of pace from most of the wedding vendors we encountered. They genuinely care and took the time to understand our vision, then worked relentlessly to make it happen. Incredible musicians and incredible humans. If you are planning a wedding and looking for musicians look no further.

    Thank you, Elegance String Quartet!!

    We loved having Elegance String Quartet at our wedding! Our guests were so impressed and enjoyed every minute. Having them there really elevated our event and was overall so special. Ray was also AMAZING to work with. He guided us through choosing songs and provided expert help the entire time. He even went the extra mile to visit our venue before the event to coordinate with the layout and sound team there. Would 100% recommend!

    Book them!

    Jenny and Ray were great to work with, and I loved having live music at my ceremony it made the whole moment feel more surreal. I also liked that Elegance had a large selection of more contemporary songs too.

    The best!

    Elegance is the best! We hired a strings trio to play during our church ceremony, and it truly added such an emotional component. Music is very important to me as someone who spent a lot of her life competitive dancing, and Elegance exceeded all of our expectations. Ray and team were always quick to respond to emails, and they played each song so beautifully. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony music was! The highlight for me was walking down the aisle to One Hand One Heart - it was how I always imagined it would be. Thank you Elegance for making our wedding dreams a reality!     The most incredible wedding music

    Elegance Quartet was the icing on the cake for our wedding. Ray and his team were amazing from the beginning of the planning process to the end. Their music made our wedding feel magical. My husband, Spartak, was born in Albania and came to the US when he was 5. I wanted to make sure that Albanian traditions were a part of our wedding. A big part of an Albanian wedding is having incredible music and to have a dance called a Valle. When I first talked to Ray after hearing his music online, I thought he and his team were so talented. He was also from Albania. Ray went out of his way to really make our wedding special by showcasing Albanian songs from Tirana where Spartak was born and helping to create a really beautiful Valle mix. He even brought Spartak's dad a special gift from Albania which his dad loved. My husband and I also work in the entertainment industry in New York and a lot of our guests are also in the entertainment business. A few of them came up to me and said they were jamming outside during the prelude for the wedding and during cocktail hour. Ray also set up a screen and played a video slide show that I had and made sure it looked and sounded great for all guests to hear. I would recommend anyone who wants live music to go with Ray and his team. The DJ Fusion that they incorporate was so much fun and made the wedding so memorable. Ray really took the time to make sure every detail for the day was perfect. Thanks again Ray!

To our Electric String Quartet we can add anything from vocals and electric guitar, to a live drummer, keyboardist, and even an MC. We customize to your event needs and work with some of the best musicians in the industry to create an expanded band with ESQ at its core.
We have a vast repertoire from standard classical to popular music and we update it every year. If you have a special song request that is not on the list, just ask and we'll be happy to work with you!
YES, a whole $1,000,000 liability policy! We would be happy to send your venue or event coordinator a copy of our COI.
Yes! However, due to the sensitivity of our instruments, we cannot perform under direct sunlight, in the rain, or when temperatures become extreme. If your venue cannot provide shelter for the instruments, special arrangements must be made prior to performance day (i.e. tent rental or space heaters).
If you desire the aesthetic of our traditional acoustic strings but have a guest count of more than 30 people for a reception, we amplify our instruments and play through a sound system in order to be heard. This allows us to adjust to the energy of the party without having to compromise our artistry.
It is customary that musicians are provided a meal if the contracted time for your event runs 3 hours or longer. We greatly appreciate the extra fuel to keep going!
We usually take a break every hour for 10 minutes. ESQ musicians are flexible and will work with you to coordinate break times for the benefit of your event.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Check and cash is also accepted. A 20% non-refundable deposit will be charged on the day you submit your signed contract, and the remaining balance will be due 14 days prior to your event.
