They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”

“DJ Michael Kennedy did an amazing job keeping the dance floor packed all night and truly knew how to read the crowd. The energy was incredible, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing! During the ceremony, everyone could hear our officiant and vows over the sound of the waves and other background noise, which I know has been a problem at other weddings we’ve attended, but not for us! He also coordinated with our live musician to get all the timing right for the processional and recessional, so everything flowed seamlessly. Everything was executed perfectly and on time, keeping the night going and the energy high the whole time. What made the experience even more special was all of the video footage he captured throughout the day. He sent us a ton of amazing videos from both the ceremony and reception, and we were so surprised and grateful to have those moments captured from such a fun, candid perspective. It was such a thoughtful bonus and gave us memories we’ll be able to look back on for years to come. We were also obsessed with his lighting. Once the dancing started, his moving head lights took over and timed perfectly with the bass of the music. His equipment also blended in well with the decor. It made the whole experience feel like an intentional, well coordinated dance floor, and took everything up a level. They really took the time to understand our vision and preferences. On the day of, they fed off the energy of the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night with their fun, musically talented performance that spanned all generations. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. “We’ve been big fans of the O-Tones for many years. We wanted to hire the full six-piece band, but our small venue -an outdoor pavilion-could not accommodate that. Mary Witt, band leader and outstanding vocalist, suggested a duo, herself on bass and guitarist John Caban. Their repertoire included swing, R&B, classic rock and soul. They were very flexible and professional. We chose as our first dance the Etta James classic “At Last”. (We are in our 70’s!!!) Mary and John’s rendition was moving and a bit sultry - just perfect for us. Their ability to read the crowd and go with our flow added so much to the fun and the warmth of our special day!”

“Hiring CC was one of the best wedding decisions we made! From the beginning, Dan was super responsive and clear about the band’s style, availability and price. After booking, Dan was great about answering questions and keeping in touch about song requests, timeline and other important wedding items. If you’re looking for a band that you would want to dance and sing along with at a fun bar or party, on top of being extremely talented musicians, these are your people. They also understand weddings and are willing to take on fun challenges. They took the time to successfully pull off many requests such as: - My requests and timing for the ceremony music which included acoustic renditions of Harvest Moon, With a Little Help from my Friends and Here, There, and Everywhere. They also take care of the sound systems and mic set up for the ceremony. - An amazing live rendition of Touch Me by The Doors for our reception entrance - Another amazing live rendition of Come Sail Away by Styx for our first dance which transitioned into open dance floor for all guests - Helping me pull off a surprise outfit change/re entrance into the party which included allowing me to join the band to sing Just A Girl by No Doubt. My guests had nothing but great things to say about CC and applauded their crowd work and musical talent. I also highly recommend paying to add on the sax player. They were AMAZING and added the perfect touch. Overall, Champagne Casanova is completely worth it for your wedding. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!”
