This will illuminate the existing walls, drape, tent, and ceiling to give the room an exquisite glow. This service allows you to switch colors throughout the night. -Custom Monogram- Customize your names & wedding date with beautiful Gobo designs that can be projected onto the dance floor, tent, ceiling, or wall.     Horrible, would not recommend

    We hired Joey for our Vietnamese Tea Ceremony Engagement party on 7/18/26 at 5PM. He agreed to come to the venue at 3PM to set up, but instead showed up at 5:30PM, after the event had already started & began setting up in front of guests. When I tried contacting him his phone was on do not disturb and upon arrival he said he was stuck in traffic and had to pull over to save someone’s life, claiming it took him 7 hours to drive from Rhode Island to Connecticut. Multiple guests stated that he appeared unreceptive as none of the songs they requested were played and he was constantly missing from the DJ booth. The audio was constantly off balance going from extremely loud or not audible at all and when asked to adjust the volume he continued to do this throughout the event. His tracks were not blended and had no cohesiveness. He replayed songs multiple times, his mics did not work and he was overall unprofessional while receiving this feedback as we were met with excuses. I would not recommend this DJ to anyone, he added unnecessary stress to our special day, was unprofessional and unreliable. He was originally hired for both our engagement party & wedding, we will be going in a different direction for our wedding that is set to happen in a month and a half.

    Highly recommend

    We loved having Joey as our DJ for our wedding day. He brought the perfect mix of songs that kept everyone dancing from start to finish, and his energy behind the decks was contagious. The uplighting added such a cool vibe to our reception space and really set the mood for each part of the night. Joey was easy to work with during the planning process and showed up ready to make our celebration unforgettable. He read the crowd incredibly well and knew exactly when to switch things up to keep the party going. We'd absolutely recommend Joey G. Entertainment to any couple looking for a DJ who actually cares about making their wedding special.

    Great guy. Decent DJ

    Joey was responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding. He even helped contribute with some of his own ideas to help plan our reception games. On the day of the wedding he arrived 45 minutes late, but set up quickly. Throughout the day he was very communicative - running everything by us several times. He generally stuck to the planned playlists and only deviated when appropriate. There were some songs that we wish were played at better times, and there were a couple of minor mistakes in the reception order, but overall we were happy with his services. He offered very competitive pricing and even threw in uplighting for free the day of the wedding.

    Our Guests Couldn't Stop Dancing

    Joey absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment the music started, he brought an incredible energy that kept the celebration going all night long. We had a smaller wedding with fewer than 50 guests, but the atmosphere felt like a huge party thanks to how engaged everyone was on the dance floor. One of the things that impressed us most was Joey's ability to read the room. Our guests had a wide range of musical tastes and came from different backgrounds, yet he somehow found the perfect mix to keep every generation dancing. The dance floor was never empty, and the compliments from our guests haven't stopped. Professional, organized, fun, and genuinely passionate about what he does, Joey played a huge role in making our wedding such a memorable experience. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and would recommend him without hesitation. Five stars all the way!

    Best Decision We Made for Our Reception

    Joey was hands down one of the best parts of our wedding. The dance floor was full from the start and never let up all night. He knows exactly how to read the crowd, keep the energy high, and get everyone involved. He’s also extremely personable and did a great job connecting with our guests, which made the whole night feel even more fun. We had multiple people tell us during and after the wedding how incredible he was and that he’s the best DJ they’ve ever seen at a wedding. He played a huge role in making the reception unforgettable, and we’d recommend him without hesitation.
