It all started close to two years ago when my daughter Madison called me to tell me she had just gotten engaged. Around two months later, she created her Pinterest board and showed it to me, and just like that... that was my queue! I was a wedding planner so I know how much work and planning a wedding takes. I called Madison and told her we would start interviewing vendors immediately. She asked if it was too soon and my answer was no! Weddings take about a year to a year and a half to plan. At the time Madison was a full-time employee and studying to get her Master's degree, so she was very limited in all of the planning, her main focus was finishing school before the wedding. Living in a different state, I depended on the internet, reviews, and calling each vendor to get a feel for how they responded to me and my views. This wedding was going to be a very organic yet elegant vegan wedding. My daughter had given me her vision and it was up to me to bring it to life. After many over-the-phone interviews, the vendors we chose were the perfect fit, the perfect DREAM TEAM! They all knew I lived in Miami and my daughter's wedding was in Virginia, so this would be a little more challenging for all of us. WEDDING PLANNER: E&E Design Company, Katie and Maegan, these two ladies are nothing short of AMAZING! They knew I was in the wedding planning business, Katie and Maegan listened, let me run through all my ideas, and then enhanced my vision and made it happen. These two ladies met with me on the day of the wedding at 10:00 AM and did not end until midnight, both of them are such hard workers.
