Weddings at Reid Castle are truly special and memorable events. When you have your wedding here, all the Shakespearean décor rooms on the first floor will be yours to use as you wish. Our glorious garden terraces and patio that adorn the castle are also open to you and your guests. As our special guest, we only host one reception per day, which means you and your bridal party can arrive early to get dressed, take some pre-wedding photos, or simply relax for a while before the excitement begins.

This National Register Historic Property was developed in 1856 offers a 1/2 mile frontage on the Hudson River with panoramic views of the Catskills. Imagine dancing the night away on the banks of the Hudson as the sun sets behind the Catskills. There is no other venue like this! Not only does our Summer and Fall rate include use of these riverside grounds but also the barn complex that the Livingston family erected. Spend your wedding day down by the river and use the barn complex for a welcome party. Our property can accommodate multiple events. We offer a discounted Spring Season the first Two weekends in May and a Regular season of Summer and Fall. Tours are given most days of the week and are by appointment only. For couples that live far away virtual tours via Facetime are offered, weather permitting. Virtual tours last as long a regular tour and therefore are also by appointment only. A little bit about us.. We are the founders of The Wandering Barman. We handcraft and bottle cocktails in our 5,000 sf space where we also built a tasting room to feature our craft. We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family settlement, one of five Shaker settlements in The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village in New Lebanon, New York. We call ourselves a boutique museum because unlike other Shaker Museums that replicate the past, we have interpreted the past and creatively restored each location on the property. Dinner is held in Armor Hall. Capacity there is capped at 130 guests, including a small band and dance floor in the Hall. If you choose to locate the dance floor nearby in the adjacent Mark Twain Room, then capacity increases to a limit of 180 guests. Weddings at Wave Hill take place only in the evening, with guests arriving after the gardens have closed to the general public. Moxy Williamsburg opened last March and has five event venues on site: Bar Bedford Garden, The Studios, Lillistar, Jolene & Mesiba. All venues can host events / wedding festivities. Shell’s Loft Red Hook is a one-of-a-kind venue with a modern Brooklyn loft feel that's woven with historical character. The property takes its name from the Old English translation of "where the sky meets the water." To this end, five ponds and a meandering brook are just the beginning of a true visual feast. Remnants of a 200-year-old stone barn, a springhouse, protected forests, abundant wildlife and a 55-acre arboretum paint a scene of incredible beauty and tranquility. Formal gardens and terraces surround the venerable estate house, its earliest roots traced back to the 1740s. Listed on the National Historic Register, the residence lends a time-honored backdrop for indoor/outdoor events. Welkinweir is the home of Green Valley Watershed Association, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to protect and preserve the water resources of Northern Chester County through advocacy and education.
