The out-of-town couple planning a wedding from across the country sounded terrifying, but the team at The Lake House Inn made it completely stress-free. The lakefront setting and thoughtful touches made it perfect.

Lake House Inn was the perfect place
Last summer, Lake House Inn was the perfect place for my husband and me to have our wedding dream. Just like in a love story, the wedding at the lake looked amazing, and being under the stars for the reception was something special. The main star here, however, is Craig and Marina, the Inn Keepers. During each moment, from the very beginning to the end, they were there, responding to people’s inquiries, easing anxiety, and seeing that everything was perfect. Their friendly personality made us (as well as our guests) feel at home. If you don’t want any wedding-related stress and would like a beautiful day, this is the right place.

We wanted a true lakeside celebration!!
The Lake House Inn gave us that and so much more. The Boathouse Ballroom felt elegant yet cozy, the cocktail hour on the terrace was perfect, and the overnight rooms turned it into a memorable weekend for everyone.

Our Venue Search Is Finally Over
We've been engaged for eight months and have been completely overwhelmed trying to find the right venue. Too big, too generic, too expensive, too far. The Lake House Inn checked every single box we didn't even know we had. Marina made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The lakefront views are breathtaking in person — photos don't do it justice. The idea of a wine cellar tasting, a firepit after-party, overnight rooms, and a lakeside breakfast the next morning… that's not a wedding day, that's an experience. Heather walked us through everything and we left feeling completely at ease. We said yes to the venue. Now we just have to plan the wedding.

Emotional & Sentimental
I don't even know how to put this into words. The moment I saw Lake Nockamixon behind us during our ceremony on the lakefront terrace, I completely lost it — in the best way possible. Marina made us feel like we were coming home every single time we visited for planning. The firepit after the reception, wrapped in blankets under fairy lights eating s'mores with our closest people… I never wanted that night to end. And waking up the next morning to have breakfast overlooking the lake with our family still there? That was everything. The Lake House Inn didn't just give us a wedding. It gave us a feeling we'll spend the rest of our lives chasing. Book it. You will not regret it.
