Terrace, Firepit & Morning Glow
From a mother of the groom’s perspective, hosting our son’s wedding at The Lake House Inn was an experience marked by grace and understated luxury. The property’s location directly on the water, surrounded by protected parklands, imparted a sense of peaceful exclusivity. The historic architecture, thoughtfully restored with contemporary appointments, lent the day an air of elegance. Our ceremony in the lakeside pavilion (we had rain all day) was profoundly moving, with panoramic views that seemed to frame the couple perfectly. The reception in the beautifully appointed lakefront ballroom was enhanced by impeccable service, exquisite cuisine from Jeffrey Miller Catering, and a thoughtfully curated bar program overseen by the talented Joe. The flexibility of the expansive indoor-outdoor spaces proved ideal, despite the weather without disrupting the celebration—a testament to the venue’s “beautiful rain or shine” promise. The on-site accommodations allowed us to extend the joy across two nights, culminating in a relaxed fireside gathering that will remain etched in our hearts. Craig and Marina’s professionalism and genuine care elevated an already extraordinary venue.
Best Lake view
Getting married at The Lake House Inn was the best decision ever. The ceremony area by the lake was breathtaking—I felt so calm and happy standing there. The bridal suite with those views was perfect for photos and just soaking in the morning with my girls. The ballroom looked beautiful, and the huge cocktail hour area let everyone move around easily. Joe slayed the bar game, and the food from Jeffrey Miller Catering was next-level good. Having 18 rooms meant it felt like a big family sleepover—we loved it. The fire pit after-party was so cozy and fun. Marina, Kate, and Holly were incredible—seriously the best team. I’m already telling all my friends about this place!
Absolutely Amazing
My wedding at The Lake House Inn was everything I wanted and more. I loved how it’s right on the water and surrounded by the state park—it felt private but still easy for everyone to get to from Philly or NYC. The second I saw the ceremony area by the lake, I knew it was the one. Getting ready in the bridal suite with those huge lake views was unreal—best morning ever with my girls. The ballroom was gorgeous for the reception, and the indoor-outdoor cocktail hour space was perfect even when it sprinkled a little. Joe at the bar was awesome, and the food was seriously delicious. Staying overnight with everyone turned it into the best weekend. Marina and Starr were amazing—I didn’t stress about a thing. So happy we picked this place!
Best Lake view !
I’m still smiling thinking about my wedding at The Lake House Inn. Saying “I do” with the lake right behind us was so beautiful—I’ll never forget that view. The ballroom looked stunning, and dancing with the doors open to the water felt magical. Cocktail hour was super fun with the big indoor-outdoor space. Jeffrey Miller Catering nailed the food—my guests are still talking about it. Having all the rooms on site meant no one had to leave, and the fire pit after-party was my favorite part. Marina was like a mom to me the whole time, and Craig made sure everything went perfectly. Best decision ever.
