• In the Tasting Room (6) wood top tables with (36) black chairs; in the Brewery Warehouse we offer folding picnic tables; both rooms utilize wood barrels with stools • Battery operated votive candles • Up to (4) bathrooms • Electrical outlets around tasting room and available in the warehouse

What is included in my space? (2/2)

• (2) 60” Smart TVs in the Tasting Room (if you wish to use this you must speak to us prior to your event) • Microphone & speaker on request • Built in sound system with AUX adapter; sound system is connected to a Pandora account • Tasting Room Main Bar has up to 12 draft lines available and set up for full bar if requested • Warehouse Sattelite Bar has up to 6 draft lines available and set up for full bar if requested

How long are weddings?

Weddings are priced for 4 hours; alcohol service stops 15 minutes prior to the end time of your event. Additional time can be added to your beverage package (+$ 10pp for the Beer & Wine Package, +$ 10pp for the Full Bar Package).

How long is food served?

Accepted Answer

Passed Appetizers/Sliders are served for 45 minutes. This will begin ~15 minutes after the start of your event unless otherwise discussed prior to your event date. If you have dinner tables, they will be serviced for 1 hour. After being serviced, the tables will remain available to guests for an additional 15 minutes unless otherwise discussed with your Event Planner in advance.

Can we taste the menu in advance?

We can only accommodate tastings for weddings with 100+ guests.

What beers will be on draft?

Our draft list changes weekly and seasonally. We will do our best to accommodate special requests.

What wine is served?

Accepted Answer

We serve two red varietals, two white varietals and one rosé varietal. Wine selection is subject to changes.

Can I bring in my own food or dessert?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not allow outside food to be brought in for private events. All of our food is prepared on site for each event. You may bring your own dessert (+$ 3pp cake fee).

Do you have a Kosher menu?

Captain Lawrence is not a Kosher kitchen however, we can try our best to accommodate a Kosher style menu that meets your needs

Can I book entertainment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are allowed to book entertainment for your event. Depending on the type of entertainment you book may affect the available space for your event. Approval from your Private Event Manager will be required and they must be in touch with the person/company prior to your event date.

Is valet available for my guests?

Accepted Answer

We can arrange for valet for your event. Valet is required for groups of 80 people or more. Pricing varies by guest count.

How much are site fees and what do they cover?

Accepted Answer

Site Fees act as your deposit to reserve the date on our calendar. The fee is an additional charge and not applied to your food and beverage package. Site Fees are non-refundable but are transferrable for up to one year to a new date if rescheduling your event is required. A credit card must be supplied for all Site Fee/deposit payments.

Can we use the television in the Tasting Room?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the television can be used to display a slideshow, image or presentation. If you decide to use the television, you must email the file to your Private Events Manager at least 2 (two) business days prior to your event date. Still images can be sent as a PDF or PNG file, slideshows must be sent through Google Slides.

Do you have cable?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we do have cable in the Tasting Room on one television. A game can be shown upon request by the person hosting the event. Captain Lawrence staff will not turn on the television without permission from the host.

Do you offer tours?

Accepted Answer

Tours can be accomodated for your guests for an additional cost. $ 150 tours can be accommodated after 5:30pm on weeknights and anytime on the weekends. We can accommodate 20 guests at a time, if you have more than 30 guests attending your event then multiple tours will be accommodated (at no additional cost). All tours are 20-30 minutes long and include a beer tasting.

Is the warehouse heated and cooled?

While all of the spaces are heated there is no air conditioning available in the warehouse, though there is a very large overhead ceiling fan. Air conditioning is available in the tasting room.

Are children allowed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Captain Lawrence is family-friendly. We like to remind guests that Captain Lawrence is an active warehouse with restricted areas to guests. Adults must supervise children carefully at all times.

Do you offer Current Spirits Tastings?

Accepted Answer

Our sister distillery is located within our same building in Elmsford and we offer tastings or flights for a cost of $ 5/guest.

Accepted Answer

The warehouse is an active working brewery Monday to Friday first and foremost. Brewing will take priority to private events which may lead to minimal work to occur during your affair. We are generally able to schedule around events but please discuss with your event planner ahead of time.
