For your next social or corporate event, Red Hat on the River invites you to share in our exquisite views and award winning cuisine. We welcome private and semi-private groups for dining in our loft or main floor. For larger affairs, the unique two story layout, along with our riverside patio, provides many options for creating a truly custom event. Michelle VanNess, Red Hat Director of Special Events, has over a decade of experience with Red Hat creating innovative private events ranging from small corporate dinners to elaborate weddings. Her particular skill is understanding that for some, party planning is a chore to be left to others, while for others it is a joy that requires expert assistance and support.

    Red Hat On The River was the perfect choice for our rehearsal dinner. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was clear, concise and incredibly helpful. You could tell they had a wealth of experience hosting important events. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a private setting overlooking the river that created a truly magical atmosphere for our friends and family. The staff took care of everything, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with. Highly recommend Red Hat On The River for a stunning, stress-free experience.

    As a wedding planner I have worked with Red Hat on multiple rehearsal dinners and welcome parties with partial and full buyouts. I have always had a great experience working with Michelle in the planning process. She is always responsive, helpful and accommodating. On the day of the event, the team is so welcoming and work hard to create a wonderful experience for my clients and their loved ones. The food is delicious and the views are outstanding!
