“We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. We are so grateful to have found Blenheim Hill Farm and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way!”

“Full stop, you need to have your wedding at Bad Seed. Not only is it a stunning location with a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space (get married/take photos in a literal apple orchard, and party it up inside a modern-with-tons-of-charm taproom) but Devin and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. They answered our questions quickly, and were extremely flexible and helpful the week of our wedding. We were able to bring up boxes earlier in the week, set up the day before our wedding, and had private access to the grounds/taproom on our wedding day. As a queer couple, we also loved that Bad Seed partners with Big Gay Hudson Valley year-round, so we already knew they would be a queer-affirming space and our wedding day was no different. Everyone we spoke to / worked with helped make our wedding a magical experience.”

“The Inn at West Settlement, lead by owner and DOC, Kim Lynas, was a dream come true! Kim and her team were amazing. They have curated a gorgeous venue, with incredible landscape and beautiful reception barn. The Farmhouse was a wonderful space to stay and get ready. The barn was the perfectly sized space for our 130 person wedding. Kim had an awesome room of decorations for us to use for our decor needs. We really didn’t need to add anything! From candle holders, table numbers, tons of signs, card boxes, flower vases. The Inn works exclusively with Mary’s Cookin’ catering and Rachel’s bartending team. Their experience and thorough knowledge of the space makes for a smooth and professional service experience for all your food and beverage needs. Kim was open-minded and excited about the vendors we did bring in, helping us pick photographers and DJs from previous weddings she thought would match our vibe. She coordinated with all the vendors seamlessly. Having the space for the entire weekend, including a Friday welcome dinner and Sunday farewell brunch was the perfect way to extend an amazing wedding into a three day event. Friday morning was spent with Kim and her team, putting together bouquets from her incredible flower garden and picking out decor from her collection to create the perfect wedding aesthetic to match our dream look. I can’t say thank you enough to this team! Kim, Danny, Areley, Katrina and many more!”

“Seven Ponds Farm is the first and only venue that my fiance and I toured. We weren't even set on getting married within the next year, but we happened to find Seven Ponds online and figured we would tour. We fell in love immediately. We knew we wanted a few things out of whatever space we found: 1) somewhere we could have a weekend event with onsite accommodations, 2) good food and beverage, and 3) beautiful scenery. Seven Ponds was all of this and more. They have streamlined the planning process so that you truly do not need a wedding planner, and with food and beverage being included in the package, it's just that much less to plan. We got to the venue on Thursday and were able to enjoy the house, swim in the pond, and prep the space at our leisure. The day of, everything went seamlessly thanks to their stellar team of coordinators and staff. Guests are still telling me what a perfect day it was. Min and Morten (the owners) are so kind and are genuinely invested in making sure you are happy with everything. Book this venue, I promise you will not regret it!!”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. “My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

“We had our wedding at The Rosemary At Spano Lake on October 4th and it was everything we could have asked for and more! The owners, Jackie and Danny, were amazing to work with and helped make our wedding visions come true by going above and beyond our expectations. The bridal suite was beautiful and had amazing lighting for hair and makeup! The tent was able to accommodate our guests of about 125, it had beautiful lights, tables, bar service, and so much more! Outside of the tent there was yard games and a fire pit! We had our ceremony on the lake facing out to the water by the rock and it looked just like a scene out of a movie! The pictures show just a small portion of how beautiful and amazing the venue was!”

“Choosing to have our wedding at Camp Timber Lake was probably the single most important decision we made during the planning process. The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

“Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. “We had our wedding reception at Pine Ridge Farms and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! You can see the Catskill Mountains from the property and the views are breathtaking. The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

“We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Black Walnut Farm, and it was extraordinary. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Jim and Sarah have poured so much heart and craftsmanship into restoring this historic barn, preserving its rustic charm while modernizing it in all the right places.

The property itself is breathtaking, with thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel completely immersed in nature. The rose garden and front yard provided great photo opportunities, not just for us but for all our guests.
Our ceremony in the forest site was an absolute dream. The setting created a truly magical, intimate atmosphere. It was the most picturesque backdrop for such a meaningful moment, and we can’t imagine having said our vows anywhere else.
The true gem of the property, however, is the historic house. Staying in this house was an unforgettable experience, and my family is already looking forward to returning for years to come.
The Barn at Black Walnut Farm is more than just a venue—it’s an experience and a place where memories are made. Jim and Sarah are not just venue owners; they are passionate, thoughtful hosts who truly care about every couple’s special day. We feel so honored to have celebrated our wedding here and cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! The River Cafe in Brooklyn serves Michelin-starred cuisine featuring Hudson Valley foie gras and Nantucket Bay scallops with Brooklyn Bridge views right outside your window. For a farm-to-table experience Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Westchester County offers cuisine sourced directly from their on-site farm with their HayLoft space accommodating anywhere from 40 to 260 guests.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in New York?

Historic Manhattan venues can make remote guests feel included by incorporating virtual tours during ceremony breaks while Midtown Loft & Terrace supports interactive platforms that go beyond simple passive streaming. You might consider venues in Chelsea or SoHo that can enhance those famous skyline views with live streaming that includes interactive elements like virtual photobooths live chats or virtual toasts.
