About this venue

The Barrow House features two separate outdoor tents and seven unique rooms capable of playing host to a variety of private events. From intimate dinners to large scale events, we are happy to accommodate. We proudly offer you a meticulously designed spaced, hand crafted specialty cocktails and elevated comfort food. We hope to make your event a day your guests will talk about for years to come. The Barrow House is one of four restaurants owned by Skopos Hospitality. Each of our spaces have their own concept meant to transport you to a different time and atmosphere. Though each restaurant is unique, you can expect the same quality of food and beverage, as well as warm hospitality.

Our event spaces

The Barn

The traditionally built post-&-beam Barn can accommodate 45 seated guests for a three course family-style dinner, or a 65 guests for a cocktail-style reception. In the warmer months, the roof can be retracted, allowing the feel of al fresco dining while retaining a private, rustic setting. All guests participate in a food & beverage package of the host’s choosing. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and we will be happy to accommodate.

Settler's Hall

Settler’s Hall, our main dining room, can be reserved for brunch events. It accommodates up 40-65 guests. All guests participate in a food & beverage package of the host’s choosing or may be billed on consumption.

The Game Room, a semi-private room, can accommodate groups of twenty to thirty-five guests. All guests participate in a food & beverage package of the host’s choosing or may be billed on consumption.

The Victorian-inspired Parlor, one half of our cocktail lounge, can accommodate groups of fteen to twenty for a cocktail-style event. e adjoining Study may be reserved in conjunction with e Parlor for an additional Rental Fee. The Victorian-inspired Study, the adjoining half of our cocktail lounge, can accommodate groups of fifteen to twenty for a cocktail-style event.The adjoining Parlor may be reserved in conjunction with The Study for an additional Rental Fee. The Garden Tent is a beautiful outdoor space that accommodates up to 48 guests. Guests may dine a la carte from our seasonal menu. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and we will be happy to accommodate them.

    Perfect for Intimate Wedding (30 guests)

    We had our wedding at The Barrow House and couldn't be happier with our choice. The team answered all our questions quickly over email, which made the planning process stress-free. They helped us figure out the logistics for set up and had their event manager on hand the day of our wedding to guide us through the ceremony timing and make sure everything went smoothly. The barn itself is gorgeous and intimate, perfect for the smaller celebration we wanted, and the food and cocktails were absolutely outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. From start to finish, The Barrow House made our day feel special and we're so grateful we chose them.

    A happy vendor review

    All of my officiants love working at Barrow House. It's a beautiful, intimate space with terrific food and service (Melissa, the coordinator there is so responsive and easy to work with!) Lovely and relaxed, it's the perfect space for a personalized wedding. The group has four other venues as well with different vibes but the same great attention to detail.

Yes! We just ask that you adhere to our decoration policies in order to preserve The Barrow House's walls, furniture and floors. Please do not tape or tack anything to any surface. Please do not use confetti, glitter or rose petals, as they get imbedded in our wood floors. There can be no helium balloons used in the barn due to the belt driven fans on the ceiling.
Yes! Your space is available to you one hour before the event starts. If you require more time you may be subject to a fee. Please let us know if you require more to decorate two weeks before your event.
Yes! The Barrow House charges a $2 per person service fee for any outside desserts. You can bring as many as you'd like!
Unfortunately, no. The Barrow House has a full service bar and we are happy to oer you one of our set bar packages or a consumption bar.
Yes! We are happy to prepare a special meal for someone with an allergy or dietary restriction. We ask that you notify us of any special requests when you submit your menu choices so that we can be prepared for your guest.
We ask that you make your final menu decisions three weeks prior to your event. We are happy to guide you through this process if you need a little extra help.
We ask that you have your final guest count two weeks before your event.
Our standard events are three hours long with an extra hour allowed before for set-up and a half hour after for break-down. We will happily extend your party a room fee of $250 per each additional hour.
During the months that we have our outdoor tents available, the music is all connected and cannot be customized. During months when we are only using the Barn, you can bring in a device to hook up to our auxiliary cord with a playlist.
