    Dream wedding venue

    The Old Tappan Manor was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was responsive, prompt, and attentive - Martin was always quick to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. On the day of, the venue was beautifully decorated and truly a showstopper. The variety of food and drinks available provided great value, and the bridal assistants were with us all night, making sure we were well-fed and hydrated. Everything was set up exactly how we wanted it to look, and Martin constantly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. We are so grateful for the Old Tappan Manor team's professionalism and dedication to making our special day perfect.

    AMAZING!

    Exceeded my expectations! From the very start of the whole process, Vincent put our minds at ease. He is so responsive and helpful the whole way through. The absolute best there is!!! Then Our matre d, Lauren, what can I say? Amazing!!!! She took care of everything and made the night so seem less. My bridal attendant helped bustle my dress and made sure everyone was fed. She even came on the dance floor to help in a pinch to re bustle my dress. The staff was amazing and guests got to choose their meals then, total score! Now what the fans said: “the food was delicious” “I’ve never seen such an amazong cocktail hour” “it was so beautiful!”

    Best day of our lives!

    I don’t know why ANYONE in the tri state area wouldn’t chose OLD TAPPAN MANOR as their venue. Vincent was fantastic, from booking to answering my very detailed emailed questions about anything and everything within hours, he was amazing. They included our signature drinks that were detailed to the point where we brought in some of our own ingredients, and they made them well. The food was what sold us on this venue and it did not disappoint! Everyone told us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, from the amazing cocktail hour selection and stations down to the cake, which was included!! I will say Vincent definitely undersold our maitre de Lauren, he would just say “we have it covered” and I would be my nervous self and wonder, but they did! I was about to hire a day-of coordinator, but you DO NOT need one at this venue, Lauren was there for the rehearsal, finalizing details that I didn’t even think of, and the day of from our early arrival til our departure and she is INCREDIBLE. She is there every step of the way, along with the bridal attendant, so you are waited on hand and foot. More so, I did a lot myself including setting up SO MANY RENTALS (all of our flowers, flower stands, audio phone book, table number signs, bar signs, and more, which they were also able to have us set up days before our event, another blessing to not do the morning of) but I was nervous about how the breakdown would go because I wouldn’t be there after the wedding, which was the main reason I was debating a day-of coordinator, because I needed everything back to me or I’d get fined. They got everything back to me in perfect condition and waiting by the door for easy pick up the next morning. Thank you so so much Vincent, Lauren, your servers, and Old Tappan Manor for the most incredible experience of our lives!!

    Everything was Perfect!

    From the moment we booked this venue we only had positive experiences. We worked with Vincent, who couldn’t have been lovelier. He’s super responsive and gives great advice/can answer any questions. A total pro. All of my guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. There are SO many options for cocktail hour, it was hard to choose. We did custom cocktails at the bar & added an exit station of pretzels and churros. All around, everyone loved all the food and drinks. We got married off site (at St. Pius X), but there’s a beautiful outdoor space, if that’s something you’re interested in utilizing. Our guests took a lot of photos at the waterfall at night. The ballroom itself is so gorgeous, we did pampas centerpieces and a few other decorations (sweetheart table arch & floor vases), but really you don’t need much to decorate this place. It looks incredible no matter what. The staff at our wedding was incredible, quick and friendly. Kept the party going. I really only have great things to say about this place. They made our wedding a real party. It was perfect!

    We would recommend this venue to everyone!!

    The staff was out-of-this-world amazing. From the second we booked until the day after our wedding, the entire staff made us feel like we were the only couple they had business for. Extremely personalized care by the Manager Martin, Maitre D Lauren, & bridal attendant Amata. The food was incredible! Cocktail hour had so many options available that I’d be surprised if anybody walked into the ballroom hungry. But even after all of that food at cocktail hour, the Crab Crusted Sea Bass was probably my favorite thing that I ate at the wedding. The venue itself is like a hidden gem. It’s tucked away on a residential main road, but the second you walk inside, you can’t believe you’re in the same place. Totally updated, perfect touches everywhere, and a gorgeous waterfall behind the sweetheart table, lit up to add the ultimate backdrop. If you’re looking for a venue anywhere in Bergen County, The Old Tappan Manor HAS to be on your list. I promise you won’t regret it.
