This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Adventure travel, hiking, eating street food in foreign cities, and scuba diving are activities that describe me well. I'd take an adventure outside over a gym any day. When I'm not photographing (my full-time job) or traveling, I'm likely cooking, eating, or camping. Whether you’re a fellow outdoors-lover or something else entirely, I’ll take the time to get to know your unique interests and personalities, and will create tailored, scroll-stopping images with my innovative techniques.     Kathryn has been a friend of mine for 20 years, so I've been following her growing business and incredible adventures around the globe for a long time. When I got engaged, I knew exactly who I wanted to do our engagement and wedding photos! Not only is she fantastic to work with, she loves opportunities for creativity and "outside the box" moments. I loved the idea of playing with light at night, so she found a color-changing light device to create incredible backgrounds for our night photos! I also loved that we hardly knew she and her second were there during the ceremony. She's sneaky and still gets the most beautiful photos! I cannot recommend my beautiful friend enough, especially if you're looking for someone LGBTQ friendly! Unfortunately, Google is not letting me upload photos, but please check out her website to see samples of her amazing work!

    We are so happy with how our wedding photos came out. Kathryn was wonderful to work with. She is professional and organized, and takes amazing photos. We spoke multiple times before our wedding day so that she could capture exactly what we wanted. We developed a timeline of when we'd take different photos throughout the day, and she was able to adjust accordingly. Originally we planned to take sunset photos around 8 PM. However, my husband and I were having so much fun on the dance floor that we forgot entirely. Kathryn reminded us, but she recommended that we stay on the dance floor and enjoy our time with the band and our guests. I'm so happy she encouraged us to keep having fun, and to not leave the party for a few photos. She captured our favorite moments and I'm so happy we choose her as our photographer. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who genuinely cares and delivers stunning work.

    We were so lucky to have found Kathryn for our wedding. As a photographer, Kathryn is an artist. She has incredible talent, creative ideas, and delivers stunning results. As a person, Kathryn is simply a joy. She is warm, easygoing, and fun. She made the process so easy from start to finish and we actually miss getting to chat with her! We are a same-sex, interfaith couple, and came to the table with family drama, a crazy dog, and a mashing of cultures. Kathryn didn't bat an eyelash. She has a true inclusive spirit, and that continues to mean a lot to us. If you want to be able to relive your special day with profound joy for years to come, just choose Kathryn!
