I’m Janice Pearson, Founder and Creative Director of Pearson Floral Designs, a Los Angeles–based wedding florist specializing in custom, design-driven wedding flowers. My background in cinematography taught me how color, composition, and detail shape emotion and memory—principles I bring to every floral design. I create intentional florals for wedding ceremonies and receptions that feel personal, refined, and emotionally resonant. Each event is approached thoughtfully, with designs tailored to the couple, the venue, and the experience they want their guests to remember.

I don’t offer one-size-fits-all designs—every wedding is a collaboration shaped by the couple’s vision, venue, and priorities.     I used Pearson Floral Design for my husband's Celebration of Life at our church recently. My only request was the color blue; she delivered and exceeded my expectations. She did a large arrangement for the church and ten tabletop arrangements for the reception that followed in fellowship hall. The mortuary had provided a large heart shaped floral arrangement that was losing petals and looking motley, Janice took the initiative and repaired this arrangement at no extra cost. It was easy to communicate with Janice; the floral arraignments were in place at the church when I got there at an agreed upon time and were beautiful. At a stressful time in my life, Pearson Floral was easy to work with.

    Joy to work with

    Janice is a joy to work with. Great communication and excellent design skills. She captures the themes that couple wanted. I am an officiant and the arrangements I have seen her make for different occasions are always beautiful and so well done. Their prices were very reasonable and the level of care at every interaction was clearly evident. Can not recommended them any higher to anyone who is looking for a great florist.

Pearson Floral Designs serves weddings throughout Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and San Luis Obispo County. For weddings within this service area, we charge a flat, all-inclusive logistics fee of $350, which covers pick-ups, delivery, on-site installation, styling, and pack-down on the day of your event. For weddings outside these counties or requiring extended travel, custom logistics and travel fees may apply. We’re always happy to discuss destination celebrations and provide transparent pricing based on location and scope.
Yes. We provide full breakdown services as part of our all-inclusive logistics. This includes delivery, professional setup, ceremony-to-reception floral transitions, and pack-down at the end of the event—so everything flows seamlessly and you don’t have to manage a thing.
Yes. Our full-service wedding floral packages begin at $5,000. This minimum allows us to provide a cohesive, thoughtfully designed floral experience, including professional planning, design, delivery, installation, and breakdown. Each package serves as a flexible starting point and can be customized based on your venue, guest count, and overall vision.
Your consultation is a relaxed, collaborative conversation designed to understand your vision and priorities. We’ll discuss your wedding details, venue, color palette, aesthetic preferences, and the overall feeling you want your florals to evoke. You don’t need to bring anything prepared—many couples come with ideas, while others are still discovering their style. If you’d like, you’re welcome to share inspiration photos, a Pinterest board, or your venue details, but it’s not required. Our role is to guide the design process and help translate your ideas into a cohesive floral plan.
We recommend booking your wedding florals 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. This ensures availability and allows ample time for thoughtful design planning and coordination with your venue and vendor team. That said, we understand that timelines vary. If your wedding is approaching sooner, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to confirm availability and discuss options whenever possible.
Yes—mockups are offered for select packages as part of the design refinement process. For our Lush & Layered, Signature Statement, and Couture Floral Experience packages, mockups are typically created 45–60 days prior to the wedding and are used during venue visits or design reviews to confirm scale, proportion, and overall design direction. For Essentials with Flair, we create a detailed design plan supported by inspiration imagery, visual references, and descriptive details to guide the final execution.
Seasonal availability varies throughout the year and depends on both timing and sourcing. During your consultation, we’ll guide you through what’s in season for your wedding date and recommend blooms that align beautifully with your vision, color palette, and overall style. We prioritize seasonal and responsibly sourced flowers whenever possible, supplementing with select premium blooms when appropriate to achieve the desired look. Our goal is always to create florals that feel intentional, fresh, and thoughtfully curated—rather than forcing specific flowers that may be out of season.
Yes. In addition to florals, we can provide select décor elements to support a cohesive, elevated tablescape and overall design. This may include candles, hurricanes, linens, and structural elements for floral installations, curated specifically to complement your venue and floral plan. Décor offerings are selected intentionally as part of the design process and may vary based on availability, scope, and package level.
We don’t offer in-house flower preservation, but we’re happy to recommend trusted floral preservation specialists upon request. Many couples choose to preserve select blooms from their wedding bouquet or arrangements as a keepsake, and we’re glad to help coordinate timing and care instructions to support that process.
Yes. When appropriate, we thoughtfully repurpose select ceremony florals for the reception to maximize impact and value. Repurposing is considered during the design process and depends on logistics, timing, and overall design goals.
Absolutely. We work closely with wedding planners, venues, and creative partners to ensure a seamless experience and cohesive design across all aspects of your celebration.
